What greetings do you like to use? More importantly, do you like "hello" or "hi"? Believe it or not, I actually DO have a point to this thread.

I'm not entirely sure how much discussion can come from this...but it wouldn't hurt.

...Call me weird but I don't say anything...okay I say 'Ola' which is the Portuguese equivilent of 'Hi'.

there are way too many greetings...i cant choose myself...i tend to rotate...

    I say hello...I don't know why.

I would do one of the following:
    1) just jump on the person
    2) scream
    3) say catgdad, dogtmom, or daiwod really loudly
    4) jump up and down yellin "HIIIIIII!"
    5) or just say hey. XD

LOL I know i'm weird...... XD lol

Lol i knw people who just say sup....XD

    Err... depends.

IRL, I'll say "Hey!" or such...

When I IM someone, I say something completely random to start a topic...

When someone IMs me, I say "hi... o.o"

Anyways, I almost always use "Hi" since I don't like to sound too formal. Which is why I use ^_^ so much, to indicate I'm not dead serious, especially when I joke or tease (which is often)

I say "XD" as a Greeting XD
But IRL I say "Oi" (Portuguese of Hi) and "Ola" (Portuguese of Hello)

LOL I was going to mention you and Erica, but I feared tainting your names if this thread became SPAMmy.

    T_T I'm losing! Nooo!

I (obviously) use "hello"...most of the time. On MSN, I use "hey" a lot. And once I've said "one,? so I'll count that as my other. I went to answer the phone once, and for reasons beyond my control, I answered with "one?" instead of "hello?" or something similar.

    Answering the phone is fun.

If I'm not annoyed at it ringing, I'll answer with something like, "Hi, this is Dominos Pizza. May I take your order?" or something. ~_~
