Grunts are Stupid

Yup, your probably right...

Come to think of it, no trainers are really bright other than you and the gym leaders/elite 4/rivals
 
The Grunts in R/S/E are probably the smartest ones around, especially the administrators.
They still retain a stupid element, but it isn't as exaggerated.

Anyways, Grunts = fail/stupid.
 
I have to admit, most of the teams are plain stupid and idiotic. I also dis-like the way they actually reveal their plans to Protagonists, that gets annoying everywhere.

But Hunter J is a different story, she actually tries to KILL Ash and actually has a heart of Pure Evil...

I'm gonna like the Next Smash Bros :D.
 
Yeah, why is it when you lose to them they don't capture you instead of letting you go free?
Though I suppose it doesn't really matter. None of them have names any ways.

You are right, they are grunts and not excutives or anything because they are clumsy and/or weak.
 
It always annoyed me how the ultra-cool big boss at the end of the worthless henchmen still was defeated by a 10-year old.
Now, if I was there, he'd be all done. >=]
 
They give good training. I wish they would make 'em kinda more realistic, by them moving around (like patrol). The only un-stupid grunts are Teams Magma and aqua. The rest = epic fail.
Another thing that makes them look stupid are their awkward outfits... oh and Team Galactics' pathetic gelled hair.
 
They're not competent enough to be Executives/Admins. They're simply there for "strength in numbers," not that it ever makes a difference. Not that the higher-ups are any smarter. They use the same 'ol 3 or 4 Pokemon as the grunts do, only a few levels higher. Not to mention that they entrust those idiot grunts with key cards, access codes, and TM's.

Meh, it's because little kids play these games. And it is good experience and a lot of fun to pwn these tough talking grunts with Zubats and Koffing at five levels under your Pokemon.
 
Also, their bosses aren't exactly bright themselves. ^_^

I agreed until the grunts part.
Unlike the other grunts, they actually did their job.
but even then, they were pitiful, why would a grunt give you a TM?

now, grunts are obviously there for the mission achieving.
admins don't join unless its a serious matter, or unless they are afraid of a 10 year old kid besting them again.
they can also be the first wave who weaken the foe down, for the last person, which really doesn't work.And even then, they are useless. They don't fight you for a second time, and its only a few steps to the pokemon center.Thats basically what grunts are.
