Should I get a Les Paul, Black Synapse, or a Fender Strat? They are very pricey but its a dream list.

To find picture and price, google...
    Synapse Guitar
    Les Paul Guitar
    Fender Stratocaster Guitar

It would be nice if you posted a Picture of them. Maybe prices as well if you really need help.

I borrowed my friends Les Paul remake and I really liked playing it

I recommend a fender, they're really the best kind of guitar to have in my opinion.

I'd say to stick with an acoustic but since you obviously want one of these I'll point you in the direction of Les Pauls. A friend of mine has/had a really nice white Gibson...

Definitely Les Pauls. I've never played a Fender before, but Les Pauls is so much better than Synapse. Ultimately, I'd tell you to stick with acoustic... but you seem to have your heart set on getting one of those, so yeah.

EDIT: Just realized I basically said the exact same thing as ^. :<

    Dude! Definitely the Les Paul!
I dont really own one but i've tried playing it a couple of times coz my friend has one, its like phenomenal :D

Erm...are you talking Epiphone Les Paul, or Gibson Les Paul? If you're just starting off, to be honest, I wouldn't go with any of those. Like you said, they're all a bit pricey, and no something I would pick up unless you're absolutely 100% sure that you'll be sticking with the instrument for a while.

But if you are, I'd go with a Fender Stratocaster. I used to have one (Bought used for somewhere around $300 about 2 years ago from a guitar center), and I loved it. It wasn't too light, and played perfectly. Then again. I've never actually owned (or even played, for that matter ._.) a Les Paul, so I'm not really sure how to compare the two =/

Go Fender. Admittedly, the Les Paul is an amazing guitar, but I personally prefer the look and feel of the Fender.

    Don't go Synapse. I can't stand them.

But these are just my opinions. If I were you, I'd do some research on them so that you can choose your personal favorite. Maybe go to a store and test them out?

Fender!!!! But if not fender go Les Paul. But really, go to one of those shops where you can try out different guitars and try them out. It's all personal preference really.

If you're looking for a really nice rock-sound, and classically heavy guitar, get a Les Paul. A Fender Stratocaster is a sexy beast of a guitar, and it plays really nicely, and it's much lighter. It'd be my choice, but my dad's already got a Les Paul so I could play that thing anytime. XD

    Never heard of a Synapse, though. o.o;

I'm talking about the Gibson Les Paul.

Well, I'm asking the more guitar-pro people, since they'll know what these guitars are.

Well, the first thing to ask here is what kind of music you will be playing, toss in some more info about you and i might help you decide wisely on here :]-

Gibson Les Paul. I own an Epiphone and it's the bomb. I've played fender, but personally... I like Les Paul a lot better.

I'm a blues/prog rock musician though. If you're looking for harder rock, maybe the Strat will pull it off better than a Les.

This is a tough one, I have a Gibson SG but I am going to upgrade soon and after playing a lot of guitars, but mostly the Strat and the Les Paul, I have decided that I am going to get a Les Paul, though I do want to get a bass. Les Paul is my choice, never played a Synapse and I never wanted to so I can't really give you my opinion, though if it's between the Strat and the Les Paul I wouldn't fret(see what I did there?), either one is a solid choice. If it will help, look up some of your favorite guitarists and see what they play.
