Well then yeah, I fully support him being grass, since... besides seeing a rock-type gym, it could've been someone else's gym that they visited as a team.

Wait didn't some of the gym leaders have rocks in their gym's despite not being Rock anyways, besides Rock gym leaders usually have huge rocks...

Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but an interesting thing to notice is that during the gym battle vs Dento scene in the latest trailer, it appears as though he allows kids (from the town or city possibly?) to watch the matches from a seating area on the 2nd floor of the gym. Perhaps he takes on the role of teaching them about Pokemon as we have seen some gym leaders do in the past.

Note: there is at least 1 other kid next to the one circled in the picture.

I dunno, that looks like a cheerleader to me.
It looks like she has one pink and one blue pom pom at rest position in front of her.

It's not very clear in that picture but if you watch the preview on Pokebeach, from what I can see it is a boy and looks like he and the other kid are watching to learn rather than cheer. But that's just me.

I watched but the other "kid" looks like they have pom poms too.
It is too blurry to tell for sure since they are in the background. XD;
But one thing is for sure, Dento acts very much like a pretty-boy type, so I don't doubt the existence of cheerleaders.

I personally believe that Dento's name is the Japanese variation of the word dent.
I never realized he was a waiter until now.. I kinda thought he was a butler, or he was in a tuxedo.
.. Until I saw the apron anyway.

It's interesting last gen we got the Butler class and now we get the Baker class...I expect those two classes to show up a lot in Dento and Aloe's gyms

It would be cool! But a little off-topic, I don't recall seeing butler/waiter trainers anywhere outside of battle frontier.

Dento's anime gym is definitely not his gym in-game since, well, CoroCoro leaks show otherwise. Besides, wouldn't it be kind of silly to battle in a high-class restaurant? Who says he's not using a generic gym in the anime? That explains the rocks, at least.

I would have thought Aloe was the grass gym because of what her name means. I now think Dento will be grass because of the monkey so I guess it is a possibility that Aloe could be a rock type gym. She looks like a hardy woman.

I would like a change in Rock always being the first gym type. Mix-up is good and the same isn't always, I wonder if the creators think about that. D;
Suppose if the games came out with new types, I'm sure some of the gyms will have the new types. If not, I'd like to see a rearrange and possibly rock not being there at all.
Mainly if Black and White is going to keep up an original title, there should be new changes. :)

Aloe could be electric, with Dento being grass, which would ruin rock's chance for 1st and 2nd. We might not even get rock at all! Though... we'd probably get that combined into a ground/steel gym to cover a part of rock.

I want some of the more lesser used types become more used in Gyms or something like that. Rock has been done too many times as a first gym. Maybe something like Dark, Steel, Flying, Ground, etc. I understand that most of these have probably been done already, but it wouldn't hurt to give them a go.

I apologize if my idea seems a bit...unorthodox. I have just woken up and now I'm having trouble explaining my views and ideas. :(

I understand what you mean, we do need to see the less seen ones, though I think we should skip steel as we got one last gen...but that didn't stop GF from having water type gym for the last two gens in a row...
