Reddo's Gym Leader Challenge - Chapters 5 & 6

Well... there's a long time since my last report. Not so much happened, but I faced a bunch of problems with HM. Now, they're almost solved. It's time to a style change!

Description: This is a childish Oddish, which likes to take in the moonlight. However, his ingenuous eyes will lure anyone to defeat. XD

Misers

Flamethrower - Confure Ray - Quick Attack - Roar
Misers is cute and intelligent. He never give up trying to overcome the foe, even when it seems impossible to defeat.

Silv
Level 32

Bite - Tail Whip - Sand-Attack - Quick Attack

Silv is friendly and charismatic. She's born to be victorious.

05:48PM - I get Eevee (Female, Level 20) from Bill. I give the name Silv to Eevee, in honor to SilverStilletto, the awesomest girl in PokéCommunity, and my indirectly my pair (XDD).

07:08PM - I retake the challenge. I go to Route 35.

07:10PM - Route 37.
07:12PM - Ecruteak City. I go to Route 42.

I go to Mount Mortar.

07:13PM - Route 42. Ecruteak City. I withdraw Hoothoot.
07:14PM - Route 42. Mount Mortar.
07:16PM - I arrive at Route 42 - "Mahogany Side".
07:18PM - I defeat Fisher Chris. I return to Mount Mortar.
07:20PM - I return at Route 42 - "Ecruteak Side".
07:21PM - Ecruteak City.
07:22PM - I go to Route 38.
07:25PM - I defeat Lass Dana. Silv grows to level 21.
07:29PM - I defeat Schoolboy Chad.
07:31PM - Ecruteak City.
07:32PM - Route 38.
07:35PM - I defeat Bird Keeper Toby. Misers grows to level 23.

07:43PM - I defeat Psychic Norman. Silv grows to level 22.
07:45PM - I go to MooMoo Farm and give 3 Berries to MooMoo.

07:56PM - Olivine City (awesome music again!). I see Guriin.

05:24PM - I receive the Good Rod.
05:29PM - I go into Olivine Lighthouse.
05:33PM - I defeat Gentleman Alfred. Silv grows to level 23, forgets Growl and learns Quick Attack.
05:36PM - I defeat Sailor Huey. Lucy grows to level 26.
05:37PM - I take a break.
05:51PM - I return to play.
05:55PM - I defeat Bird Keeper Theo.
05:56PM - I go out of Olivine Lighthouse.
05:57PM - I return to the lighthouse.
06:00PM - I defeat Gentleman Preston.
06:03PM - I defeat Sailor Kent. Silv grows to level 24.
06:05PM - I defeat Lass Connie.
06:10PM - I defeat Bird Keeper Denis. Lucy grows to level 27.
06:11PM - I gou out of the lighthouse.
06:12PM - I return to it.
06:14PM - I find a Rarecandy.
06:15PM - I give the Rarecandy to Silv (but should have kept it...). She grows to level 25. I find TM34 - Swagger.
06:18PM - I defeat Sailor Terrell.
06:24PM - I defeat Sailor Ernest. Misers grows to level 24. Tara grows to level 25.

Jasmine quest

06:25PM - Jasmine asks me a cure to Amphy.
06:27PM - I go out of the lighthouse.
06:29PM - I save the game.

12:08AM - I buy 6 Great Balls. I return to Route 39 and 38. I get a Berry.
12:10AM - Route 39. I give the Berry to MooMoo.
12:11AM - Route 38. Ecruteak City.
12:12AM - Route 42. Mount Mortar.
12:15AM - Silv grows to level 26.
12:16AM - Silv grows to level 27.
12:18AM - Lucy grows to level 28.
12:20AM - Route 42 - "Ecruteak Side".
12:21AM - Ecruteak City. Route 42.
12:22AM - Mount Mortar. Juu-chan grows to level 27.

09:41PM - I get a Berry.
09:43PM - Route 39. I give the Berry to Moomoo.

09:45PM - I receive Sharp Beak from Monica. I surf.
09:48PM - I go back to the beach. Olivine City.
09:49PM - I surf near Olivine City.
09:51PM - Juu-chan grows to level 29.
09:57PM - I go to the Pokémon Center.
09:58PM - I surf again.
10:00PM - Juu-chan grows to level 30, forgets Cotton Spore and learns Mega Drain.

I return to the land.
10:03PM - I deposit Marill, Silv and Lucy.
10:06PM - I save the game.

June 15th, 2010. - Tuesday.

09:07PM - I continue, go to Routes 39 and 38.
09:08PM - Misers grows to level 26.
09:09PM - Misers grows to level 27. I get a Berry.
09:10PM - I give the Berry to Moomoo. She is fully healed.
I receive TM13 - Snore.
09:11PM - I go to Olivine City to heal my pokémon.
09:12PM - I start a long training at Route 38, healing my pokémon at Ecruteak City Pokémon Center.

Results of the training:
--- Misers reaches level 32 (10:00PM), forgets Ember and learns Flamethrower(09:59PM).
--- Tara reaches level 32 (09:57PM), forgets Sleep Powder amd learns Moonlight (09:57PM).
--- Juu-chan reaches level 32 (10:03PM). She tries to evolve to Jumpluff.

10:03PM - I finish the training.
10:04PM - I save the game. I go to Olivine City.
10:05PM - I go to the gym and save the game. I take a break.

I get out of the gym. Team Rocket attacks again. I save the game.

Chapter 12 - The Adamant Dragon Master

July 7th, 2010. - Wednesday

10:08PM - VS Clair.

10:14PM - I defeat Clair. Pinky grows to level 39. I save the game.
10:16PM - I withdraw Lucy and Azumarill.
10:17PM - I surf.
10:18PM - I do into Dragon's Den.
10:21PM - I give Amulet Coin to Silv. I get a Dragon Fang.

Clair gives me the Rising Badge and TM24 - Dragonbreath.

10:25PM - I get out of Dragon's Den. Professor Elm calls.
10:27PM - I save the game.

I started Pokémon Silver as trainer named KAMON. I was asked by Professor Elm to go Mr. Pokémon's house and to take a Pokémon with me. I chose a Chikorita and named it CHIRIA. I set off to Cherrygrove City, then went north to Mr. Pokémon's House, where I received an egg from Mr. Pokémon and a Pokédex from a man named Professor Oak.

Upon leaving Mr. Pokémon's place, I recieved a phone call from a very distressed Elm and was told to come back to Newbark Town immediately.

So, I headed back, but along the way, I ran into a red haired trainer, who challenged me to a battle with his Cyndaquil. I won and he then told me that his name was ???. I thought it was odd, but I continued back to town.

Once arriving back in my hometown, I went right to the lab, where a police officer inquired about ???. I told him all that I knew and the officer left. I then gave Elm the Egg Mr. Pokémon gave me. He seemed happy and told me journey around but told me I had to tell my mother first. I didn't and just left town. Oh, and Elm's aide gave me five Poké Balls.

Upon leaving, some guy asked to teach me how to catch Pokémon. I said no, and left him.

I've come up the route above Cherrygrove City and went to the left, instead of the right like I did to get to Mr. Pokémon's. I avoided a lot of trainers, except for Youngster Mikey who had a Pidgey and a Rattata.

I entered a really Dark Cave, where I came across a Zubat, which I caught and named it BAZUU. I continued to Violet City, healed and went back to fight the trainers I skipped in order to train BAZUU.

Realizing I was still REALLY under leveled for the gym leader, I went to train in the Sprout Tower. At the top, I ran into ??? and then fought the Elder of the Tower. Upon defeating him, he gave me HM05 Flash. I then left the tower using an Escape Rope that I found nearby.

I then decided that I was as ready as I could be to fight the gym so I went there. I used BAZUU's Bite to annihilate the ENTIRE gym. The thing was a beast. Anyways, Falkner gave me the Zephyr Badge and TM31 Mud-Slap. Taught Mud-Slap to CHIRIA.

I left the gym and got a call from Elm, who told me to go to the Pokémon Center in Violet City. I went there and received the egg that I had given Elm. I didn't want the egg so I left it in the PC to rot.

I've decided to end it there.

I did Erika "duh!" and destroyed Red with it. I have a lot of experience with battling with grass types because that's the only kind I battle with!

I'd love to try this, but I've gotta say... The list of Pokemon is highly confusing. Owo Why the heck does each Gym Leader have so many Pokemon?? Shouldn't we be using the canon Pokemon from the game??? And if I do do the challenge, may I attempt to use the canon team from the games? Thanks! 8D

Leaving Violet City, I traveled south, go the Miracle Seed and fought a lot of trainers, allowing for my team to level up quite a bit, with CHIRIA learning Reflect, which was soon replaced by Poisonpowder. When I came to Union Cave, CHIRIA quickly evolved after a few battles.

Once I got out of the cave, I came to Azalea Town, which had lost its favorite Pokémon, Slowpoke. I went to an old man named Kurt's house to get some custom made Poké Balls but he quickly left to nearby Slowpoke Well. I followed, wanting my Balls. I realized that there were mysterious men and women in the Well, who were the notorious Team Rocket, who I thought had disbanded three years ago. I fought them off and they left and Kurt took me back to his house and he gave me a Lure Ball...great.

I then went and challenged the gym in the town, wiping through the trainers surprisingly easily but had a bit of a problem with Bugsy's Scyther. After winning I received the Hive Badge and TM49 Fury Cutter.

I left the gym and went out to Ilex Forest, but was confronted by ???, who had heard that I defeated Team Rocket. We battled.

BAZUU VS GASTLY
BAZUU used Bite and knocked Gastly out in one hit.

BAZUU VS ZUBAT
The two had a Bite off with BAZUU narrowly winning.

CHIRIA VS QUILAVA
CHIRIA uses Mud-Slap. QUILAVA uses Smokescreen.
QUILAVA uses Ember. It nearly knocks CHIRIA out. CHIRIA uses Mud-Slap again.
QUILAVA uses Ember again and knocks out CHIRIA.

BAZUU VS QUILAVA
BAZUU uses Bite. Quilava uses Smokescreen.
BAZUU uses Bite. QUILAVA faints. ??? looses and leaves.

With ??? out of the way, I head in the forest and come across a boy who asks me to find his lost Farfetch'd. I reluctantly agree and go running around to find it. I finally do and bring it back to the boy. His boss comes and gives me HM01 Cut. I catch a Pasa and name it SLAVE. I teach it Cut so the I can chop down a tree and so I can continue on through Ilex Forest. Along the way, I find a man with TM02 Headbutt. He gives it to me and I teach it to CHIRIA, replacing Tackle.

After getting through the forest, I come to a gate. Inside, a woman gives me TM12 Sweet Scent. I come onto Route 34, but I skip fighting the trainers. I then come to Goldenrod City. I pass on through, come to Route 35 and skip most of the trainers there. I go through National Park, skip the trainers there too and come to Route 36, where, after a while, I catch a STANTLER and name it BANTING. I then go and use it against all the trainers I skipped, along with the trainers in the Goldenrod Underground, in order to train it. I aslo bought TM02 at the Goldenrod Department Store and taught it to BANTING.

After all of this I went to the Goldenrod Gym and fought the trainers there. I finally came to the Gym Leader Whitney. We then Battled.

BANTING VS CLEFAIRY
BANTING headbutts. Knocks out CLEFAIRY.

BANTING VS MILTANK
BANTING putts MILTANK to sleep with Hypnosis.
BANTING uses Headbutt. MILTANK is asleep.
MILKTANK wakes up and uses stomp. BANTING uses Headbutt. MILKTANK gets knocked out.

I win and Whitney starts to cry. A nearby Lass explains that Whitney doesn't like loosing or something. Whitney then stops crying and gives me the Plain Badge and TM45 Attract.

I leave the gym and go the a bike shop and get a bike. Then I go to a flower shop and get a Squirtbottle. I then go back to Route 36, along the way I find a TM04 Rollout and I encounter a weird tree. I spray it with water and it reveals itself as being a SUDOWOODO. I fight it and defeat it.

A man nearby gives me a TM08 Rock Smash and I teach it to SLAVE. I go notth onto Route 37, fight a few trainers and enter Ecruteak City. I go to the Pokémon Centyer and meet Bill, who invites me to his house in Goldenrod City. So I head back and receive an EEVEE from him. I name it FINN.

I return to Ecruteak City and go to a dance studio, where I fight five girls in Kimonos. After winning, an old man gives me HM03 Surf. I then go to a burned down tower, where I fight ??? again.

BAZUU VS HAUNTER
BAZUU bites. HAUNTER faints.

CHIRIA VS MAGNIMITE
CHIRIA uses Mud-Slap. MAGNIMITE faints.

BAZUU VS ZUBAT
Another Bite off. BAZUU wins.

BANTING VS QUILAVA
BANTING uses headbutt. Quilava faints.

I win, BAZUU evolves into GOLBAT, ??? leaves. I go to the basement and see three beasts leave. I also leave and go the gym. I defeat the trainers inside with BAZUU and then square off against Morty.

BAZUU VS All OF MORTY'S POKéMON
Bite. Over. And. Over.

I win and get the Fog Badge along with TM30 Shadow Ball, which I teach to FINN. I leave and then go west onto Route 38. I fight a ton of trainers and my team levels up quite a bit.

Then come to Olivine City, where I meet ???, who tells me that the gym leader of the town is helping a sick Pokémon at the Lighthouse. I head there and fight my way to the top, where the Gym Leader Jasmine, sends me across the sea to Cianwood Island to get some SecretPotion.

I leave the Lighthouse and go to the Olivine Cafe, where I receive a HM04 Strength, and I teach it to CHIRIA in exchange for its Poison Powder. I then go and get a Good Rod from a fisherman and catch a Krabby that I name SLAVETWO and teach Surf to. I then Surf to Cianwood, fighting a lot of trainers along the way.

Once I get to Cianwood and get the SecretPotion. I then decided to challenge the gym. I defeat all the trainers and challenge Chuck.

FINN uses Shadow Ball. PRIMEAPE leers.
FINN uses Shadow Ball. PRIMEAPE uses Mega Punch.
FINN uses Quick Attack. PRIMEAPE uses MEGA PUNCH. FINN is knocked out.

BANTING VS PRIMEAPE
BANTING uses Stomp. PRIMEAPE is knocked out.

BANTING VS POLIWRATH
BANTING uses Stomp. POLIWRATH uses Dynamicpunch. BANTING faints.

CHIRIA VS POLIWRATH
CHIRIA uses Razor Leaf. POLIWRATH uses Mind Reader.
CHIRIA uses Razor Leaf. POLIWRATH faints.

I win and receive the Storm Badge and TM01 Dynamicpunch.

I leave the gym and receive HM02 Fly from Chuck's wife and I return to Olivine and climb the Lighthouse. I give Jasmine the Secretpotion and she returns to the gym.

I follow her there and we battle.

After training some more, I challenge Jasmine again.

I win and get the Mineral Badge and get TM23 Iron Tail that I teach to FINN. I leave the gym and go back through Ecruteak City and go east onto Route 42 and go all the way to Mahogany Town. I go north on Route 43, where I catch a Girafarig, which I name GIFARI. I go and train the new member before going to the Lake of Rage. While training, I come across a VENONAT. I catch it and name it VENEY. It is the final member of my team. I decide that I must train it now.

I went to Route 33 defeating all the trainers there. At Union Cave, I caught a new team member (Sandshrew) and I proceeded to train it. I reached Azalea Town and talked to Kurt. Went to Slowpoke Well to defeat the Team Rocket Grunts and to catch a Slowpoke. While I was training my team, Sentret evolved into Furret. After training everyone, I went to the Azalea Gym and defeated Bugsy.

I was doing my challenge on an emulator and I accidentally deleted my save file while I was cleaning out a ton of my files.

I seriously want to cry right now. I was really enjoying doing it but now...I don't want to start it over, considering how far I was. So, I have to recall my challenge. I am, however, going to do one on Red.

Im back! thanks to an old computer my parents have lying around, i managed to complete another part in the challenge (phew, its taken me 3 months to get 10 badges, my life is rough... :X) anyways, update coming soon.

Lucy sends a Sludge Bomb and Typhlosion misses a Smokescreen. She then sends another Sludge Bomb and it's all over.
