Gym leader horror stories

Clair, Sabrina (in Gen I only), and Norman were my biggest battles. Clair's Kingdra is surprisingly strong... well, I was surprised, at least. Sabrina was such a step up from the other Gym leaders beforehand and proved to be quite the tough cookie to beat, especially seeing as Dark critters hadn't been 'discovered' yet. Norman's Slaking was just a beast. Took a while to take down that ape.

He is in yellow if you don't have the right pokemon, his pokemon's levels are really high to.

Drayden in Black was hard too, I was planning to use Gothitelle's Attract to disable him but she fell to his Druddigon. Samurott beat his Haxorus though.

I just find Dragon-type Gym Leaders really hard.

Dragons have only two weaknesses and the only effective one is ice, but I don't like ice so I sometimes struggle with dragon type gym leaders too. I guess thats why they are always in the elite four or are the last and strongest gym leaders.

First horror story: Charmeleon vs Starmie.
Second horror story: Quilava vs Miltank.

Yep, they were Misty and Whitney. In my first run of Pokemon Red and Gold, I was pick fire stater in the both games. And that was the result. Only train one Pokemon and go to the long adventure.

The most difficult Gym leader for me was Winona her stupid Altalria just kept killing me i think i had a Machamp and Blaziken and a Delcatty all on really low levels and she kept killing my pokemon.
