Halo 2, Nay or Yay?

At our last cult meeting, my friends and I sacrificed a small GOAT! ^_^ -_^
:laugh:Funny. It's an inside joke. Or at least I can make it to be one if it wasn't intended to be.
The reason the SP might have been disapointing was becuase Bungie made us to believe that the entire game would focus on Earth. Well, that wasn't true and some gamers find it a disapointment, but I don't think so.

Yay for the story, ten yay:s for the cooperative!

I think Halo1/2 is the most overrated FPS ever created XD

Totally agreed there. Metroid Prime for Gamecube impressed me MUCH more than Halo or the othe shooter sony just released.

The problem with MICROSOFT and SONY is that they have no originality, they limit themselves to improve the same game it's been done over and over.

Prime adds some new features to the shooters.. such as the cameras, the ball thingy and all that.

Halo has gone popular for one and only reason: it's the only noticeable game in the whole Xbox catalog.. which is pretty sad*shrugs*

Actually, I agree. Halo is overrated - it's just like a combination of all those games you got tired of when you were younger.

As for me, I'd like to get it, but I doubt I could convince anybody to buy it for me. I have a nack of giving up hard games (and continuing them later, but they don't know that =P)...

It's a shame that so many people think the Halo series is overrated. Especially when you consider that if it weren't for the first Halo, the XBox would have had a very poor lineup of titles at its launch. It might have been so bad that it may have died in its baby days. I wonder what happened to the good old times??

You're right, without Halo being overhyped as it was, the X-Box most likely would have failed (and we'd be a lot better off too *cough*). The main thing is X-Box fanboys go around saying its a perfect game that everyone loves. The thing is, I dislike FPS; ergo I dislike Halo. I am in no position to talk, never playing either of them though (OMGZ NEVER PALYED HALOZ!!!???one!), but from what I've heard, the second one added almost nothing, had a horrible one player mode (which is what I usually all I can play having almost no real life friends), and has several odd points in multiplayer.

I'm not saying the games are bad, they're just not perfect like lots of people say they are.
