Halo 3 Disscusion thread

I mean I have a lot of friends who like to play Halo 3, but they don't have an xbox live account and they don't want to play with those poor temporary accounts. Is it possible to easily make many of your own accounts without having to get an xbox 360 account...like in Halo 1 and 2 where you just chose a name and that was all you had to do.

I've heard beating campaign gets you extra points for XBOX live, is this true?
 
yea every chapter u beat any difficulty will get u points but not like ones u use when u buy stuff at the XBOX market place.

Yeh plus if you beat it in Heroic Legendary etc, dont forget you also get GP for picking up skulls =)
 
I've heard of skulls u get them for new parts for your chracter (that u make) can u use them for more?

True the more achievements you get the more armor parts you unlock
 
oh ok cuz my bro was talking about it just making sure.There also like Cogs in Gears of war don't u think?
 
Yeah except you get an achievement for every one you pick up well mostly every one of them, and like less cogs to pick up XD

I don't have Halo 1 but I have played it be4 n its awesome.
Oh n I'm still asking myself this but what if Halo would of came to the ps2 instead? will there be even a 360 if this would of happen?
 
I don't think it'll become a Playstation game because it's a microsoft game so unless Sony pays a crap load of money i doubt it xD

No I'm talking about back then, it was going to be a PS2 exclusive but Microsoft then bought bungie i think so it became an Xbox exclusive
 
Id nuke Sony if Halo was to become a PS exclusive, but meh then again theres still Gears of War to match it up
 
Did They Fix the needler's in Halo 3? They were useless in Halo 2 But they were still pretty cool too use.

Yeah they did its insanely strong now, but you cant dual wield them anymore
