    Its up on XBOX Live and just wondering how many people have already taken it in. I cant right now because mine usually acts up for a while when they first update the marketolace but I do have a question. Those of us who got ODST, they said there was something special for us with Waypoint. Do we get if it for free?
     
    Dunno if you're on about the avatar awards or not with this 'reward', only thing I've seen thats a worthwhile reward.

    I downloaded and see it quite pointless. Avatar awards are a nice boost for ODST owners.
     
    Halo Waypoint doesn't have much content right now, but as soon as they roll out Halo Legends (among other things) it should appeal to Halo fans.

    The avatar awards are only obtainable if you own ODST (with the exception of the Monitor prop, you get that the first time you launch Waypoint), they are comprised of some ODST gear and the Recon helmet (Dare helmet for females, though it's essentially the same helmet with a different color)

    It looks interesting. But it's really late to be having a Halo-everything app like this. I've finished Halo 3 and don't own ODST, so..it's not really appealing to me in that sense.

    I would like those avatar awards though. XD
     
    If you have XBL it is free, for xbs it will be free for a certain amount of time I believe.

    I checked it out... It may mean just trying to obtain more awards etc... Like what it does, is it groups certain acheivements together, and if you get most of them, you get that award... Kind of cheesy I know...

    The Legends preview was really short X_x

    But at least we found out it is going to comprise of several shorts (kind of like the animatrix).
     
    When you first load up halo waypoint you get your first avatar award which is the monitor. Then you have to get halo 3 ODST achievements to get the other avatar awards. You get an ODST outfit for completing the good samaritan achievement, a recon helmet for completing the vidmaster: endure achievement, an ODST shirt for completing the tourist achievement, and two other ones that I forgot. Its worth it unless you dont have ODST, then you cant get any of the other avatar awards.
     
    Yeah, when I first started it I got like 5 Avatar Awards. I think its kinda cool, The Halo: Legends par excites me. A reason to log on every week.

    Considering the fact that Reach is coming out next year it's a pretty good move business-wise. They have a lot of time to add a slew of content before the game comes out.

    I dunno what that is, so...XD I'll assume it's a game and say, "Oh, well maybe they aren't done yet."

    Yep, You're awarded with free crap for your avatar for certain achievments in ODST. Your even awarded with a moniter prop just for downloaded. Besides that,its a waste of 130 Mbs if you dont follow Halo like an addict.
