A Mesprit or Cresselia. Maybe the wondering birds in platinum? Wondering Pokemon, i absolutely hate. They are such a pain and hardly any balls are useful. Master Ball and Quick ball maybe worth a shot but other than that they are a REAL pain.
 
I got many legendaries. As far as i remember. The hardest was Giratina. I've used many pokeballs,great balls, ultra balls, dark balls. many many more. I thought it would be easier. But it's pretty hard though. And i've catched it in 45 minutes. And it was really really hard to catch. But still im happy that i've catched it without passing 1 hour. I'll be dead if it passed. The 2nd one was Arceus. I really don't know why it was hard for me. But as far as i remember. It was 25 minutes. I think i've used many pokeballs too. well not just the pokeball but all the kinds of Pokeballs. The 3rd one was Mesprit, Azelf and Uxie. I really hate those trio. I really also don't know why i can't catch them easily. I always make their hp " RED ". And giving them some sleep powder. or something else. Well it's really up to badluck and goodluck.

Giratina: It was on red HP and paralyzed, took me 122 ultra balls to catch -.-

The other weren't that hard, but still not easy. Heatran would be second...
 
I've never liked trying for Heatran, just too much of a burden to get through Stark Mountain.

the first time i went to shark mountain it took me like 1 and a half hour to get through
the second time when i had to get heatran
i kinda got lost in the cave but i then found my way
to heatran when i battled it with my sceptile
i took its hp down to 1 and when i threw a ultra ball it just broke free
it tok a while but i managed to catch it!
 
Giratina. I caught him with level 54- POKéMON. My lowest was my bibarel at level 38. He was for HMs, anyways... I tried Giratina 6-7 times. Got him on the 7th time by using only two dusk balls.
 
The hardest legendary ever for me to catch on platinum was Azelf. Kinda lame I know but, hey. There we have it. My hardest legend to catch.
 
Definitely Giratina. The first three or four times I tried, I wasted all my Dusk Balls. After all that, I took a small break and decided to catch him later. After I came back, I weakened him down to the red in two turns and caught him with my first attempt >.>
 
I haven't even tried Heatran yet...but I can say this: Regigas was a pain in the butt....x_x I gave up after I used up all of my time and ultra balls...so I decided to try and catch it some other time....

Funny, It took me less than 30 minutes to capture Giratina....I just whithered down its hp to the lowest Red possible, paralyzed it and just started throwing different balls...Believe it or not, I have my Giratina in a Quick Ball....LOL
 
LOL Giritina was the easiest for me!
got him with a level 42 gengar and 23 bibarel.

So simple.

He has only one move that can effect Gengar and that is (DARK PULSE?)
You can tell when its coming which gives you time to switch out to a normal type.
 
for me it was Cresselia plus it was soo anooying trying to get it because
itd keep leaving everytime i got near it so that was another bad side to it
but after like 15 ultra balls I finally got it xD
 
For me, it was that stupid Cresselia. I used my Master Ball on Mespirit, so I had to keep trying to catch Cresselia with duskballs. D:< I hated the fact that it moved around, so every time I went to the place where it was, it had already moved. The other one that was hard for me was Heatran. I don't even wanna go there on how bad Stark Moutain was. XD
