Giratina. I must've used at least fifty Ultra balls. The darn thing wouldn't let me catch it. I did finally catch it on my last Ultra ball, though.

It may be strange, but it is the 3 regi's in platinum.
I took me like 50 balls each or more.
I waste of ball I think :(

giratina. I wish I didnt accidently press master ball on catching a damn Chingling
Haha

On Diamond it was Cresselia, it took a while to find, and a lot of quick balls & dusk.

Platinum its was Heatran, 1st I forgot the thing had flash fire an flamethrowered it so it lava plumed and killed a lot of my pokemon. 2nd it just wouldn't stay in a friggin' poke ball (dusk actually) but I eventually caught it, thank goodness.

For me it was Heatran. That thing took just about every single pokeball I had, even though it was asleep and had only a very tiny, barely visible amount of HP left. 0.0

I honestly hate all of the legendaries that you have to chase all over creation. I didn't like getting to Giratina, though, either.

Heatran I never bothered with.

I recently started to again play platinum. Again Giratina was the hardest. I was harder than the last time lol XD.

lol the weirdest thing was
that in pearl version giratinia was harder to catch
then in platinum
i caught giratinia with my altiria
used sing then giritinia fell asleep
i switched with my sceptile
and used false swipe until it had 1hp left
then i threw a ultra ball and caught it !!!
i was very supprized

I really had not much trouble with the legendaries in generation IV, but I guess the most troublesome had to be Giratina. Heatran took me about 5 Ultra balls, Mespirit went in with a single throw, Uxie and Azelf took under 10 balls each. Cresselia was also a single ball wonder.

I have yet to face Regigigas, but i remember the horrible memories fighting the Regis in R/S/E, thank goodness for Timer balls.

False Swipe & Thunder Wave are usually the easiest combo for me to pull off, but sometimes sleep can be better because it prevents the legendary from using moves for a while, sparing time.

Any and all roaming pokemon. Roamers just piss me off o.o

I think all the legendaries are all the same difficulty of catching. Expt for Palkia and Dialga. I caught Azel and Uxie with luck.

well i think the hardest one is AZELF...coz it took me a very long time to capture it, even though i already weakened it and put it to sleep..

For me in Diamond, the hardest to catch was Hetran. It took so many tries before I finally caught it, and each attempt took a really long time (usually taking so long that it used Struggle and KO'd itself XD).

Liar Liar

False Swipe is a normal move so it doesn't affect Ghost types like Giratina
