4th Gen Has anyone battled Palmer?

I've played him 5 times and beat him twice. Many times I've been so close and my game will freeze up or my ds will die, and I'll get disqualified, so I won't get to face him.
 
He is moderate to defeat. I just break sleep clause.
 
he was pretty easy because I had the right Pokemon, even though I had to redo the battle tower twice to get to him the 2nd time

I destroyed all his team with my garchomp.
Dragonite: Dragon Claw, 1hitKO.
Milotic: Earthquake, red life. Milotic uses ice beam, Focus Sash activates, dragon claw and KO.
Ryperior: Earthquake and KO. I couldn't believe I killed Rypherior with one hit viewing his high defense...

I haven't fight him the 2nd time though

EDIT: Just recdently I fought him again... I lost miserably =(
