6th Gen Has anyone else got 7?

    I bred a Chatot with 7 SpA and 7 Spe, the rest 6 and 12 hp.

    I showed my friends and they went all fuzzy saying it's impossible to go over 6.

    What the hell then? My rom is hacked? LOL

    Are there X and Y ROMs out there now?

    And to my knowledge, it's only 6, so not sure quite how that happened.

    LOL sorry I mean cartridge. Anyway yeah it happened, I'll post a pic soon.

    Sorry it's not all 6, Atk is 5, because of timid nature.

    Having a 7 stat at level 1 is possible for Pokemon with high base stats. From my breeding experiences, it's possible for Pokemon with a base stat of 85 and up to have a 7 in that particular stat at level 1. Ex: Murkrow has 85 base Attack and Special Attack, as well as 91 base Speed.

    For Chatot, its base Special Attack is 92; its base Speed is 91.

    Great info mate! Now I get it.
     
    A lot of people think 6IV means 6 in each stat, so I think that's the confusion that has led to this myth. I've had plenty of Pokemon with 7 in a stat too.

    Me too when you got a 6iv ditto it's common
     
    I bred an onix with 8 in Defense.
     
    Whoa this is weird. O_O

    Maybe they changed that for X and Y? I've never had that happen to me D:
