Have you ever felt stalked because of your colorful username/title (Staff too!)

    So, Lets hear those funny stories about n00bs who stalk us specshul peeps with colored names. Maybe you've got a story about someone who mistaked a supporter as staff. What's your story? Best one gets a cookie!

    Also, let's not name any usernames. Just to save a conflict/thread closure I think we should just refer to the user in question as a 'nameless n00b' :P
     
    Someone made a fansite for me once. I... I don't think I need to explain much past that. xD
     
    "Nameless Noob" thought I got modded....back when we still had the purple usernames...XD

    "Nameless Noob" also asked me to donate money for him/her...In return he/she would be my best friend forever on PC (Tempting, I know)
     
    A certain Nameless n00b begged me to donate to PC for her on MSN last night. I think erica knows who I'm talking about ;)
     
    I knows who you are talking aboot, they asked me since they really didn't have any other method if they couldn't get X person to do it for them
     
    Say 2-4 months ago, I got many a PM asking about things like if I could speed up some nameless n00b's thread approval, or if I could do a name change. (can't ever say who they where because I can't remember who they were anyway) I even got confused with Master Kwesi Nkromah once, some n00b wanted to know if their site could join up with PC. needless to say I said I was flattered, but could in no way facilitate any answer, then I just forwarded the message on to Master Kwesi. (no Idea if any answer was ever procured.
     
    Oh, one time I was mistaken for higher staff by a nameless noob. They wanted to know if I would ban someone for them. xD

    Another time some nameless noob said I didn't behave in a Moderator-like fashion. That one made me laugh just a bit, but it also made me question what they could have been talking about.
    (It was a random PM...)

    Last but not least, someone was ecstatic one time that a Moderator, Ryab, and a Supporter, yours truly, welcomed them. It seemed like such a special moment to them. :o

    He was right, you big meanie! Stop warmly welcoming people and being respectful of other members! Horrible behavior....XD
     
    I feel so ashamed now... I'm just going to go in my little shame corner and never warmly welcome anyone again. The next thread I will make sure to be incredibly mean and hateful. You know... like a Moderator. xD
     
    Just a few random idiots that assumed I was a mod.
     
    A nameless n00b would write on my VM every day. ;A; I responded only a few times. :<~
     
    Of course I feel (/ get) stalked because of the Steel Blue Bold username. You have no idea how many times I get followed / bombarded with... everything. From VMs, to consistent PMs, to posting right after me in any thread; some people don't stop until they have DIRECT ZOMG NOW contact with me. (It's the curse of the Bleach Toy colored username, afraid to say) I have quite the swarm of them. :D! A good portion of nameless n00bs get really frustrated whenever I don't return a VM / PM, etc. D: I have a pretty good story about me getting hunted, but it needs too much detail and specific people to be told. I have numerous hate (And stalk) fanclubs organizations across the net too, some people love me. ;D *cough*

    Oh oh oh! I know. After I lock a thread, I always refresh, and there in the viewer's box are Hiidoran nameless n00b 99.9% of the time, and Aurafire nameless n00b, 60ish%, and any of person with NU/W in their subscriptions many other nameless n00bs. :D I do something they go whah MUST SEE. \o\ Kinda funny to catch them. :B

    Hmm, on the confusion part, I'd say out of any section on PC, I get more Private Messages about the Wi-Fi Battle Stadium than I do about New Users / Welcome. People always seems to mistake me for a DPt, why? I dunno. Heck, even one of the nameless n00bs with powers that exceed my own by leaps and bounds (you know who you are) mistook me for a DPt moderator. >:But to be fair, I visit that section fairly often.

    I remember one time a nameless n00b completely ignored my first post and said "*Dark*Master, thanks for creating this thread" in my Leave / Absence thread. ... XD;

    When I was a PC n00b, I thought supporters were God-like in a way because they easily had features and abilities (Dunno why) far past my own. Not to mention, money. XD; I see a lot of people that are like... "Hey cool, a mod, and some supporters welcomed me!" get excited. Some people really enjoy the sight of some privileged members.

    The only reason I look at the after they're locked it that they're usually pretty interesting. It's not just the standard "You've broken the rules, So I'm locking this" nonsense. They usually have a little substance and some witty comments, providing for a little entertainment! So yes....in theory, I MUST SEE! XD

    But yeah...It might give the impression that I'm stalking your posts. At least I haven't worked myself up to 99.9% yet O.O
     
    I wish. I like being stalked which is the reason I stalk so many others. But perhaps that's the reason I'm not getting stalked. Who knows?

    @Hiidoran - Please, don't do that anymore. You make me, and I'm sure many others, feel so evil for not warmly welcoming new members to the site as much as we should. :<

    you're in luck, I recently stocked up the shame corner with chocolate
     
    I've never really felt "stalked" per say. I have had some people show up on my recent visitor page, that I don't know, quite frequently. But I have had a few people mistake me for staff. I actually met one of my now really good friends that way.

    Haha. I hope you're including me on that. Even though, aside from this thread, I never spoken with you, you were on my list of people to stalk. If that makes you feel any better.. I suppose that's a good thing.. or if you want it to be a bad thing, it could be that as well.
