Have you ever had a big board? Any forums over 1,000 members? Share your stories with us!

Well i've never had a community as large as 1000+ but i did use to co-own one that had about 300+ when i last visited. It had around 20 regular members who were eventually asked to be staff and we always had a healthy flow of new comers. Not all of them stayed but the place was always active.

I modded on a rather large community before it moved hosts and posts and such were lost. .-. I still do mod there, but things aren't as big as they used to be.

I currently mod on PSF, which is rather large, I suppose. I don't do much of anything though. :P Everyone else beats me to the jobs. And I co-admin a Marauder era Harry Potter RP, which will hopefully get to be large. ;D

I at one point was the owner of the biggest Digimon forum on the web. That was in different times...

I was also an almost-smod here a long time ago. (I was mod of about half of the forums...)

Big boards are more of a headache tho. I prefer small boards.

I'm the webmaster of a Pokémon site with 4.5k members and 105k posts. Certainly not the largest, but not small either.

I've only had a forum that has had like 43 members and most of them were bots, but I have modded 2 forums before and yet, they didn't have like 1,000+ members.
