4th Gen Have you ever LEGALLY caught a Perfect-I.V. or 0-I.V. Pokémon?

Have you legally caught/hatched a Pokémon with all Stats of 31 I.V.'s or 0 I.V.'s?

    30
An IV is a hidden number assigned to each pokemon's stat, ranging from 0-31. It determines how high that particular stat can go, with 31 being the highest

I just put my whole team through the IV calculator and my Golduck and Luxray which were my first wild captures in pearl after piplup of course and they came out
GOLDUCK LV67 31 31 31 31 31 31
LUXRAY LV66 31 31 31 31 31 31
The rest of my team had 30 across the board and had at least one 31.
No wonder im 313-0-0 on wifi ^^.

313-0 with that team makeup ? Maybe its cuss of your shaymen but then its stats arent to bad, but i could beat that team i bet with a team that isnt on my trainer card. claiming to be 313-0 is alot and TBH it has to be proved imo cuss i dont belive you

Judging from you using a shaymin, did you get those 2 pokemon through a trade ? or did you hack them ? Somehow i have to doubt you have 2 pokemon with perfect IV's and then brag about being 313-0 lol.

After checking your posts on this forum you havent posted in the dueling section, so unless you played some little 2 year old kid 300 times i just cant belive it lol.

It's impossible to get a "wild' all 31 Adamant Pokémon, no such thing exists in the Game. The RNG can not produce it. There are 6 possible all 31 Wild Pokémon in the game, three of those are Modest, one timid one Lax and a nature I can't remember(I think it was Quirky)

Ive just noticed this post:

*CoughBullcrapCough*
Did you by any chance forget to put the EVs in? If they were your first captures i doubt you'd have paid attention to EVs

Its possible, but the chances are in the millions

Programmers have looked into D/P roms and figured out how iv's and natures are determined. They found that the game can only produce perfect Pokémon with the natures mentioned in my previous post. (All iv distributions have a set nature assigned to them)

The RNG (random number generation, this determines iv's and natures) is the same for ADV and DP as far as I know.

What, you didnt realise they were randomly generated? I thought that was obvious. The equations have been here for years.

Is that aimed at me or World King?
Anyway, there's "random" and "RNG random" where the seeding is what keeps things as random as they can. This however limits your possiblities to those 6 perfect spreads I mentioned.

World king, you were explaining to him and i was expanding on the point

Not knowingly, but then again, I don't really check the IVs when I catch pokemon.

Ah thank you, I couldn't figure out your post.
And to World King, the RNG is the mechanism in the game that determines the IV of all Pokémon. All values for a pokémon are generated through this one mechanism, any given Iv spread will always have one possible nature assigned to it. Now knowing that, a few skilled programmers have figured out how the mechanism works. They have determined all possible Iv and Nature combinations, there were only six all 31's possible: 3xmodest/1timid/1lax/1quirky

By the way, that only applies to wild Pokémon, not bred ones. Breeding can produce all flawless with any nature because some IVs are always passed on. I've heard someone bred an all-31 Shuckle. It was Naïve, however, so worthless in battle. Perfect parent, though.
