Yep, what actually happened to Natsume (for all we know, the Taizan Fukun Ritual could fail and she's still imprisoned in the realm of souls, pretty much that's how Suzu's explanation to the rest of the party can be understood) and whether Harutora is still inside Yakou's consciousness.
+ how Kyoko got her Star Reading power, etc.
I just don't see that as ending. If it's preparation for sequel, then I'm all hyped =D

It does indeed set-up for season 2, but don't expect that any time soon honestly. At the very least 2-3 years before season 2 is announced.

Anyways, I can shed some light of your questions. Natsume was indeed revived, so her soul isn't trapped. Regarding the circumstances of her revival, I'll refrain from commenting since that would be a spoiler lol. About Yakou and Harutora, you shouldn't associate them as two different people. They're essentially the same person, just think of Harutora before he awoken as a Yakou with amnesia. And about Kyoko, I don't exactly remember, but her having Star Reading power was inherited from her grandmother or due to her shared blood with the Tsuchimikado family, it was said somewhere in the novel.
