wow thats awful first she looks like crap and now her name is crap? also i will bet anyone ten bucks that when it comes to america her name will be heather because it is the closest american name to one of the games

its not the overalls that bug me cuz you cant really tell on her OW sprite its that darn poofy marshmallow hat of hers that looks awful
 
I like the name Soul. But weren't all the other possible names taken? The boy with red hair is named Silver I thought. :/
 
In reguards to TMs and hms, I think they are ognna be like they were in GSC (bar DPP moves), becuase:

1. Headbutt trees are back.
2. Whirlpools are back.
3. Third gen TM moves are getting old.
4. Lots of the potental TM moves the leaders could give out as a prize are a bit too strong early on. (only the first two leaders fit that catagory)
5. Almost every gym leader would adhear to thier origonal strategy ecept for falkner who used Mud-slap as an offenceive and deffenseive move.

These are the reasons I think that the TMs should change in these versions.

1. I don't ever want to go through Honey Trees AGAIN. And how else will Headbutt tree Pokemon be caught if they're not brought back?
2. Whirlpool will have to be an HM, of course.
3. Third gen moves are blehhh now. I hope that TMs 51-wherever they stop are still in tact, though. They could just change the first 50 to match GSC's.
4. Aerial Ace and X-Scissor? Holy crap! Although it's a nice thought getting those early in the game, it'd make it too easy to teach those moves so early into the game. However, we did get Water Pulse and Thunderbolt early in the game.
5. True that, and no one can say that in FRLG that the strategies were different. The gym leaders then didn't have a strategy implemented into them. Bugsy actually made the move Fury Cutter, and we all know that Whitney abused Rollout. What kind of GSC remake would this be without Rollouting Miltanks?
 
I think there are move tutors in the game.

But meh, I don't want move tutors. I'd much prefer TMs so that you don't have to search out the tutors or wait til a certain point in the game. It's really annoying.

yeah, a few weeks ago, they brought up an intresting point on this thread- the Sweet Scent move tutor (or what we believe to be her) is back :)

It's a low chance that the Johto Dex will be changed, guys.

People claimed that the availibility of baby Pokémon for johto Pokémon in Sinnoh will change the Johto dex to add Bonsly and the other. I say no.

The new baby Pokémon need an incense (that's why budew was able to be caught in the wild and needed an incense to be bred by Roselia, because if Roselia is normally breeded it produces another roselia from 3rd Gen+, and Nintendo will not want to alter evolutionary lines.). And FireRed and LeafGreen did not have a single change in the Pokédex. So, HeartGold and SoulSilver have the very same Pokédex of the Good 'al games Gold and Silver.

It's already confirmed there will be SOME change for the Johtodex (some numbers were off in SS, it's 99% a change), no reason to repeat it or yell about it cause there's nothing to do. And why would more Pokemons you are not obligated to use not even to get the National dex hurt you?

And seriously, there's a speculation thread and a complaint thread.
 
This is not a complaint. I'm just saying information. Kanto Dex hasn't been changed, so Johto wouldn't...
 
The thing is that in FrLg you could not breed until after the E4 wich meant it was not possible to get a Pichu for example. However you can in this so it will be possible to get many in theory. However it seems they planned for the release of HGSS long ago ecause of all the new evolutions in Gen 5 and thier need for and item toevolve or an icence to be bread. These items will most likley be unavailable in these games which means the pokemon wll be aswell, assuming we can't trade with Dppt until after the E4.
 
I han't actually seen any source or proof that her name is officially Soul, does anybody have a source? As far as I'm aware people just starting calling her Soul because Leaf was named Leaf in LeafGreen.

But it is a speculation-related thing, right? You saw it in the speculation, but instead of just commenting there you opened a new thread...

Anyways, your theory is not correct just because a few Pokemons were already changed, whether the order was changed or Pokemons were added.
Plus, the Kanto dex wasn't changed just because the Pokemons back then were the Pokemons existed in the order they should appear at. Johto dex was just a mess around with all the 251 Pokemons existed back then, so there's no reason not to mess with it even more and put some prevolutions or evolutions.
 
Its been proved.... YAY! but nothing has confirmed 3rd and 2nd gen pokemon to be in the games before the national dex. And if they are going to be they would of comfirmed it by now :(
