4th Gen HeartGold/SoulSilver Speculation

Ilex Forest was kind of peaceful, but I still like it. I don't recall hearing the music of it so I wonder how it'll be, peaceful or scary?

The BGM, you know what, that just isn't clicking in my head right now. Though, yeah the Orange Islands, I'm not all too interested in having it in there.

With the new look of the Ilex Forest and that music, then it'll definitely be an alter ego of the two.

Personally I think they should keep the OI out of the game. Not like they were going to add them anyway. It just seems like an animé thing, keep it like that. Besides the OI is just Battle Zone on islands, so just add in the Battle Zone somewhere, and you'll be good. Sevii Island, I really don't know. Maybe just for TR purposes you could have them, but other than that I don't really think they are necessary.

I agree, they aren't needed. If any Islands really had to be put in, then the Sevii Islands would be my first choice.

What was the original forest's name? I know it wasn't Ilex...

Yes, the forest in the Johto is called the Ilex Forest, while the forest in the Kanto is the Viridian Forest.

It was ilex the whole time? You know when you could use headbutt to see if pokemon were in trees? The one with the shrine? It was Ilex?

Yes, it was always called the Ilex Forest. It was never changed.

LOL. I guess i just forgot the name of the forest.

It has been a few years now, so I wouldn't doubt some of us have forgotten a few things. Maybe as more information comes in, it'll start to click onto us again.

I also remember the Ruins of Alfred (or whatever). That took me hours when I was a child.

Yeah, I'm hoping that makes a comeback for the game, along with various other things.

I should probably play my old Crystal Version for a good memory booster. Though, there are a lot of things that happened in Gold and Silver, than I'm sure will make a come back with better features and all. Seeing as the touchscreen has been utilized, I'm also thinking that a lot more will be dependent on that as well.

Aren't apricorns fruits/nuts they used in olden days instead of pokeballs?

No No, they were picked up by the player, given to someone [currently the name slips my mind], and he makes them into a Pokéball for you the day after. For example, ones such as fast ball, or heavy ball, etc.

Kurt! I used the Greens alot because they turned into Friend Balls and I thought they'd actually become friends with me.
