Hey! My name is DaBerkeleyKidd (I made it my username because I was born in Berkeley, CA :P). I'm a long time pokemon fan, I've started playing it when I was 7 or 8 years old and my first OWNED pokemon game was leafgreen, the first time i've ever played pokemon was my brother's pokemon silver. I didn't know much about pokemon until my cousin started to talk to me about it and BAM! I've since became a pokemon fan. Hope to stick around here because I'm capable of not going on the forums for a long period of time. Hope you all enjoy that mini story (or introduction) I made!

I was about the same age when I started Pokemon, but I started off when it actually came out...like when the games came out and the Anime debuted and stuff. It's awesome that your cousin got you into it...great way to spread the awesomness Pokemon has :D

Hi Berkeley, you can call me Hikari.

I am known among this forum as the Crazy Oshawott Girl cos my fave Pokemon is Oshawott and I'm well, a crazy girl. (Don't let my avatar/sig fool you, I am actually a girl)

I started playing Pokemon during 3rd Gen like you but my first game was Ruby. My teams had little diversity and weak moves back then, learned from that mistake in later generations, with Black 2/White 2 next on my wishlist.

I have been loving Pokemon since I was 7, and I still do today at age 19. I'm turning 20 in October and I'm showing no signs of hanging up my Pokedex.

Feel free to send a VM to me and we can talk together! I'm very friendly around newbies, so I can help you settle in. I am a tad bit quirky though (as reflected in my signature design).
