    Hello!

Please call me Collector. I'm new here, but I've been collecting Pokemon cards and playing the games since the late 90s. It was an important interest in my household and brought me and my family together in a way I cherish like nothing else.

I'm very behind on the games, as I tend to stick to playing Gen1 - Gen3 on my Gameboy SP :)

I have (arguably too) many of the cards, especially Gen1. Several binders, a few boxes, you know the drill.

I am holding my breath to be able to post in the card identification forum, as I've had a particular card for many years now and would like to get some other eyes on it very soon :) I'm not looking to sell, just curious and excited and figured this would be a wonderful place to talk about my find!

That being said, I'm also very excited to join this community, and I'd love to chat about all things Pokemon!

Welcome Collector! Gen 1-3 are great generations that's for sure. I feel the replay value they have as opposed to the more recent ones is fairly high, at least to me. I'm sure you've Pokémon Trading Card Game section. The regulars there would love to see your collection no doubt. I collected cards many years ago, though it didn't last very long and was replaced with Yu-Gi-Oh! cards fairly early on in my collecting stage. There's plenty of topics to add your input on. Do you plan on playing the newer generations at any point? Enjoy your stay and if you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to ask.

The replay value of the original three GB games stuns me! Even when I'm overwhelmed and don't have much focus, I find myself picking up the YRB trio and exploring the old world. :)

Yu-Gi-Oh had a very large part in my early years of collecting, as well! I'm sure I still have about a deck's worth of cards lying around somewhere-- it was never something I was as into as Pokemon, but I played the old PS games (Forbidden Memories and I think it was called Rose Duelists or something?) where you could input card serials to add rarer and higher-level cards to your deck.

As for the newer generations, I actually currently still have Silver/Gold, Ruby/Emerald/Sapphire, Crystal, and I think Black 1 and 2 in my game case. I haven't picked any of them up for a while, but with everything going on I surely have time to play them! How far into the newer generations have you played? Do you still pick them up?

Thank you for the welcome! I'm incredibly excited to be here n.n ♥

Hey there! I'm a collector too! I had a similar experience with my family and collecting TCG cards. :)

Welcome to the forum and just remember that there's no selling allowed on the forum, just showcasing if anyone hasn't mentioned that!
