Hello everyone! Well here's my simple intro

    Well here goes nothing! So I just joined and have now been forced into posting for my first time by my girlfriend (username:Starsprite). A simple intro I guess would be to say that I've played more of the older Pokemon games (Crystal was my first) so I don't know all too much about the newer generation. More or less I'll be here to role play or simply chat and make some new friends. Thanks for your time!

    Your girlfriend's pretty awesome for recruiting you haha, we really are a nice forum, after all! Like Wind Heart said, the Metal/Color Generation Games section would definitely be a good fit for you if you're into the older games like R/B/Y and G/S/C. I was at my peak of Pokemon obsession back when Crystal just came out so I have a huge soft spot for those games, too. So you've never played the more recent generations of Pokemon, or are you just not as into them? The franchise really did improve over the years, especially graphics-wise, so I totally recommend to check those out! They're great games, though it's totally up to you in the end. Just always fun to see the improvement from ten years ago and now. <3 You might be interested in FireRed/LeafGreen since they were remakes of R/B.. though that's assuming you haven't played them already haha.

    We have a really active Roleplay Corner section for the aspiring roleplayer too; make sure to check that out if you're looking to get involved in some, yes? Sometimes I want to participate too, but I really don't have the dedication to stick with one since they really require a lot of dedication. It's super fun to do though, especially when you have friends roleplaying right alongside you. :D

    Sorry for the slow reply, but thanks for the help both of you! C: She is pretty awesome, especially since she's shown me to what seems like one of the best sites I've been on by far. Too be honest I was a bit scared to post since some people can give some pretty mean replies that really discourage you from the site. I've played the newer generations, both Peral and Diamond. I just don't care for the newer Pokemon myself, they just aren't the same in my eyes. I can see what you mean in te graphics and design they use now, it's really quite amazing! I've played Ruby and Leaf green, and I can agree, they're pretty good. Then again, nothing like the good old days.

    I can't wait to explore the role play corner too, though I'm not sure how well I'll do at first. I'm thinking about heading over to the Adoption forum (unsure of the name) and see if I can get a little help starting off. Also the best part about role playing is that, again, my girlfriend is into it too, so that makes it a lot better. (Even if she shows me up a little). Thanks for your replies, and I'm glad to see theres both good members and mods! I hope I'll see you around and speak again.

    Seriously though, the people here are great - not discouraging at all. I'm pretty sure you'll do just here. I hope (and think) you'll love it here. C: you really ought to try the new Pokemon games though they're goooood

    Hello Virtual, and welcome to the PokeCommunity.

    I'm a friend of Starsprite here, so I'm pretty sure you might have seen me on when you were still lurking as a guest. Making an intro is always good since you'll meet other, more experienced members quickly despite the fact I never made an introduction thread of my own. Don't worry that you aren't familiar with the newer generations yet, some of us are not-so-familiar with the old generations like me (my first game was Ruby, and I played all of 4th and 5th Gen, so I played D/P/Pt, HG/SS, B/W and now also B2/W2) but despite that, I know all the Pokemon because I am a dedicated fan.

    I feel so happy you're going to check out the Adoption Center, cos that way you'll get help from a trained specialist in your fave part of the forum. The staff and other members are also happy to show you around, and if you're looking for friends I'd be happy to get to know you more. Just send me a VM and I'll be happy to help you know the forum better!

    Hi! It's a good thing you posted! You should post more and stuff. :3 Because this place is awesome like that, yeah?

    My first Pokemon game(that I've owned) was Ruby, so I guess you can say that I started off pretty late compared to most people, including yourself. XD But no worries, I played a bit of Silver version, so I'm not really missing out on too much.
