Hello! MBA Student from UH here

Hello everyone. My name is Steve and I'm currently pursuing my MBA at University of Hawaii. Admittedly, couple of weeks ago I didn't know much about Pokemon other than watching a few episodes when I was younger. I've recently been doing a good amount of research into the global phenomenon and trying to understand how it's remained popular over the last 17 years.

I'm in this class where we are currently pre examining different businesses in Asia with the intent of going there in July to visit these businesses. I got assigned to Pokemon and will be traveling to Tokyo in a couple of weeks to visit their headquarters.

I'm really interested having some discussions within the forums to get a fan's perspective of Pokemon. I'm currently combing through this forum for resources and looking forward to chatting with some of you soon!

Ahh, that sounds amazing. I'd love to work on a project like that.. too bad everything I've had to do in my school days was very boring, haha. xD; Either way, welcome, Steve!

Pokemon General would be a good place to start as it's the hub for all discussions on the Pokemon world as a whole including theories, merchandise discussion, and all that jazz. Glad you've found your way there already. :) Would be lovely if you could dabble more in the franchise yourself as it really is amazing. Either way, you'll find lots of great discussions here.

Another good board to mention is Pokemon Gaming Central! It's where you can discuss the pokemon games with the other members! Of course, the different pokemon topics around here are really good places to visit, so, chem em' all out if you want to! We also always have our different boards such as Video Games, Chit Chat, and so on! <33
