    Hello there;
    I'm Radiant-Nova-Blast, or you can refer to me as RNB for short, and if you're friendly enough, I'll even let you call me by my name; Cyrus.

    I love Pokemon and I've been in it since I was about 10 yrs old or so (now going on 25). There was a period of time when I grew out of it, but I've picked it up again and I don't see why not, esp since I now grew more out of caring too much for what some stupid people think. ;)

    My favorite Pokemon are; White Kyurem, Blaziken, Charizard, Black Kyurem etc. etc.

    My favorite types of Pokemon are; Fire & Dragon.

    Looking forward to getting to know you and share in interest for Pokemon.

    BTW- Being that I am new, and fairly new to the new Pokemon game (I have Pokemon Y that is) please be tolerant and bare with me when it comes to my ignorance about the stuff. No noob hating please! ;) I may have a lot of questions for a while and I'd appreciate your help.

    Hello, RNB. You make me remember when I was away from Pokémon several years ago, but I've decided to return because I like it, so I guess we have things in common now {XD}

    Fire and Dragon types are very very good, both of these 4 are one of my favorites as well, especially because they are awesome in their own. And among fire types, I have my personal fave fire Pokémon of my own, Victini. Even though we like different Pokémon, I hope you'll know that this forum is awesome because we can talk about just everything Pokémon-related.

    I'll looking forward to see you active in PC, RNB, and welcome to PC! :)

    Thank you, and I would have you know that Victini is also one of my favs, in fact, I even included him in my list of favs in my profile, although I did not include him in my list above. Yes, although he does not evolve, he prob has to be my fav of all the cute Pokemon next to Pikachu and Plus and Minun. We def do share similar interests. Hope to see ya around.

    Mmm, yeah, it's pretty natural for people to stop playing pokemon every now and then when we grew bored or grow out of it, but, it's wonderful that you're picking it up again, and I'm very pleased to have you here! Welcome to PC. :3

    I really like Blaziken - I used to use it all the time when I was playing Pokemon Ruby! Well, I also sort of left all the battling to it too, which ends up with my other pokemon being really underleveled, ahaha. But, it was a great pokemon regardless! Ah, and I'm starting to really appreciate Charizard and his mega from! It's really strong, and a great physical sweeper! Course it can be on the special side too, but, I like it's physical movesets! Mmm, and Dragon pokemon as well as Ghost pokemon are my favourite types of all time. I especially like Flygon, Altaria, and so on, which are really cool Dragon type pokemon. <3

    Aw, but it's okay if you have questions. We'll be more than happy to help you out with anything! For instance, you can ask me any question you'd like if you have one, and I'll help you out, because I'm always willing to! Well, have yourself a wondrous stay on PC, and I look forward to your activity. c:

    Hello! Absolutely love your name! Have fun here and i don't think people here are noob-hating, we're one of the best communities here so you should be fine :)

    Welcome, Cyrus! No one will get on you for being new to X/Y, a lot of our other members have just started their adventures or not played at all yet. :) But they're really good games, aren't they?! If you're interested in trading and battling you'll have a whole bunch to do here in that regard as we've the Trade Corner and Battle Center to explore.. plus there's the option of sharing your friend code in the friend code thread, too. Don't forget the many other boards available!

    Hopefully you've been liking things so far here. If you have questions you should ask in the appropriate board - so if you're stuck in X & Y you'd use the X/Y simple questions thread over in the sixth generation board. Easy enough but if you're lost, just contact a staff member. We're all glad to give you some pointers!

    Enjoy your stay and see you around, Cyrus! Be sure to stick with us for a long while to come.

    Hello welcome to PC :) I finished the Pokemon X myself and I bet you will love it, as I have seen there is a lot to love in that game even after you finish it there lots of to do :) Just watch out it's addictive! haha :D Like all pokemon stuff ^^

    Thanx for the warm welcome everyone, I truly appreciate it.

    @Meercat: though I am new to the game, I actually have already completed it. If I think about it; I got the game a few days before Christmas and completed the game (defeating the Elite four) about, must have been almost two weeks ago from today. :D Got through it pretty fast! ;) Like I said, I do have Pokemon Y and not X, although after learning more about Xerneas, I almost wish I got X, but there are things I like about both, so it's hard to tell, but Xerneas is one rad Pokemon for sure, prob even more than Yveltal.

    There is indeed still alot to do even after you complete the game, I have also found this to be true, although I had some ideas I shared in another thread that would keep one busy with the game all the time that I hope Nintendo or the Pokemon Co. are willing to pick up. Never know, but we'll see. And it is indeed addictive, this is also true.

    I remember playing the old Pokemon all Gameboy Advance many years ago and I was glad to see they've maintained a lot of the classic aspects of the game and yet improved many aspects as well, yet I think they can even improve more.

    Welcome to the team, Cyrus! Don't worry about your friends getting behind your back, Pokémon is for everyone. I know the player is generically a 10-year-old kid, but there's a lot more to it than that, and there are some plot parts that can be scary for children. There's nothing kiddie about Pokémon. If that were the truth, we would have Pikachu teaching us the ABCs and 123s, ha ha ha.

    But PokéCommunity is a tolerable community who accepts anyone for who they are. Most of us here are pretty friendly, but I guess there are a few flamers out there. Fortunately, I'm not one of those people. I am a friendly guy, like Aura, Sheep, and everyone who is an active citizen of the community. Go ahead and friend us! PC can be the experience of a lifetime! Be involved!

    No, like you said, it's for everyone. Idk if the opinions of anyone ever had anything to do with my growing out of Pokemon in the first place actually, but if it ever did, I definitely grew out of that like I said. The point is that I personally like it, and of that I'm not really ashamed, whether it's considered a "kiddie" thing or not, it's about my personal preference, but there's no doubt that it has plenty of kiddie elements just as it has some adult elements as well. Either way, I just personally enjoy Pokemon. ;D
