Hello people. I'm new and saw this thread for new people, and figured its a good place to start. Name's Hossa, and I've been playing Pokemon since I can remember like many of you. Started with Blue and have played all of them up to Emerald. I got Pokemon X last year and Alpha Sapphire just recently. I figured since the Pokemon world is expanding in terms of people playing each other from across the world, that I'd join up too. Anyways, I'll be exploring the site a bit and seeing if any threads catch my eye. Pleasure to meet all of you :)

Tons of Pokemon fans have been getting back into Pokemon with the sixth generation so yes, the fanbase is certainly expanding and it's wonderful to see. I love seeing how active and engaged players are, especially with features like wonder trade. n~n

Welcome, Hossa! Good to have you here on the forum. You can do pretty much anything on PC from trading and battling to joining clubs and even roleplaying so hopefully things pique your interest here. Hooray for old-time players too.. I started with R/B and am still a fan during OR/AS. So you haven't played the games between Emerald and X/Y, I assume (such as Diamond/Pearl, HeartGold/SoulSilver, Black/White, etc)? Any plans to try those sometime?

Have a blast either way and I'm looking forward to having you around! Do ask if there is ever anything you need. :)

Aw, you missed the fourth gen! That's easily my favourite; DPPt revitalized my steadily dwindling interest in the franchise, and HG/SS was a dream come true. Things soured a bit with Black, but Black 2 put everything back on track. The DS titles are definitely worth checking out if you've got the time or are of a mind to...although I expect within the next five years or so we'll get Sinnoh remakes or something. It's nice to see that you've stuck with the franchise for so long as well, though~

Thank you for the replies. Yes, I missed out on the 4th/5th gen sadly. I hope in the future to get into D/P and B/W. If HG/SS are anything like the original, then I am going to fall in love with 2nd Gen all over again ♥. Thank you for the replies people! :)

How are you enjoying both X/Y and OR/AS? I obviously haven't played the latter yet (although I do plan to soon) but it's one that's been well-received here thanks to the nostalgic memories of Hoenn that are coming back to those who play it. Also, as Sheep said there's so much you can do around here so go see what interests you and hopefully you make some new friends along the way.

I guess I'll leave all the exploring to you now, but have a great time and I'm always happy to talk!
