This is probably the first forum I've started and I'm really excited. I hope to make friends and trade Pokemon and all that fun stuff. So. Thanks for letting me join. :)

Nice to have you aboard! For your first forum, how are you liking PC so far? I hope that you like what you see, and I do hope that you'll have a greeat time looking over all the stuff and discussions that goes on around PC! So again, welcome to PC, and it's really nice to meet you tonight!
We in PC have all sorts of pokemon boards, like the ones that relate to X/Y, the anime, orr maybe you can check out pokemon general, or pokemon gaming central for discussion pokemon and the pokemon games in general respectively! Of course, there are the pokemon boards that cover topics about the older pokemon games, like R/B/Y or G/S/C, so, maybe visit those as well! Ah, but we also have non-pokemon boards, like video games, the art section, and other chit chat and polls! So it's up to you to explore to the ones that you like!
Make sure you've read and understood the rules here, mmkay? They're easy and straightforward to understand, but their important to ensure order! And I hope that we can talk again sometime! If you need any assistance, feel free to ask one of the staff members for help, and we'll assist you as soon as possible. c: Thanks, and have a nice night!

PC is a pretty good choice for a first forum though it's understandable you might get a little stuck along the way given how large the community is. But everything is pretty straightforward - all you have to do is scroll down the index/main page and find a board that catches your eye, be it the Pokemon X & Pokemon Y board or other areas like Pokemon Clubs or Culture & Media. You can discuss a wide range of things here from, of course, all things Pokemon to off-topic discussions on movies, TV shows, video games, news, and even places where you can kick back and chat about almost anything like the Chit Chat Cafe. Be sure to explore as there is a lot to do. (=
Aura has left some wonderful suggestions for you too and you're in for quite a lot of friends if you stick around. I find PC to be one of the chattier forums out there, at least from the ones I've visited, so you're sure to meet many great people! Do let us know if you need help and stick around for a while, all right? We would love to have you~

The others have already shown you around but I'm happy to leave my part too. PC is a really active community so I'm sure you can make some new friends here given how diverse the community is. I've been here for a long time now (I'll be celebrating 3 years as a member come March) and I know from experience. Like what Sheep stated, take time and explore to see what catches your eye.
But yeah, I do look forward to seeing you around the forums and if you ever need a friend don't hesitate to leave me a visitor message, I won't bite of course. Plus, the staff in the blue, orange and red usernames are always there if you have the more tough questions. They are there to help you after all.
