Hi everybody! i'm a pokemon fan since I was 4 and even now I continue to play pokemon games, because they remind me of my childhood. I completed the pokedex in Pearl version (without cheats), but my favorite is Fire Red; because when Pokemon Red came out in Italy I was not able to read xD and also I have always dreamed of having my own Charizard! I thought that the "real" pokemon world ends with the second generation; because, in my opinion, Ash complets his journey meeting Ho-oh, the creature he has saw the first day of his adventures and also looking at the Hoen- Sinnoh - Unova pokemon you can realized that they are clearly Nintendo's commercial creation.

FireRed/LeafGreen were really good, definitely agreed. I spent a lot of time playing them and the addition of the seven islands made it a lot more fun! Your'e lucky you managed to complete the Pokedex in a game without cheating though; that's pretty nice, I've never even come close to getting all the Pokemon in any game. xD;; Maybe some day it will happen for me! Have you tried Black/White or Black 2/White 2? Those were good as well and felt so different with the new animation style. Aaand having a real Pokemon would be pretty awesome. I'd be fine with any Pokemon, plus then you could be a Pokemon trainer instead of going to school, hehe.

And yeah, Pokemon definitely has a lot of seasons and games now and brings in a lot of money, though I still think it's a very fun franchise. The anime is still fun to watch since it's always awesome seeing your favorite Pokemon moving and talking on the screen. <3

Thank you for the welcome, Yes I can understand what you have said infact I agree with you about Meowth because he is (and he will remain) the smartest and the most elegant pokemon of all (instead of that arrogant Giovanni's Persian). I've also tried B/W on my Ds but i didn't liked them at all, but i appreciated some details as for example the season's chainging and the "Comic style box " for the dialogue; Of couse would be FANTASTIC to leave school to start your own Pokemon journey xD

Your English is actually pretty good! So don't worry about it. Plus coming from Italy sounds so cool. :3 But yes, hi Fonzy! Four years old? I became a fan of the games at around the same age, too! You are awesome for completing the dex for at least one game though, because I've never done that. ;; If I wanted to though, I'll only go for R/B/Y because that's a lot smaller than the huge number of 'mons we have now, lol.

My favorite would still be Gold, and that probably won't change ever. Still, FireRed is a pretty cool game, too! I love that it introduced the tradition of remaking the games. <3 Charizard is awesome sauce I have to agree, but Blastoise is the best 'mon for me. ;D That is actually an interesting theory for the anime, though! The recent seasons have really lost the magic of the original series, and I wouldn't be surprised if they were just meant to be sell-outs to promote and coincide with the games. Another theory I have though is that Ash is secretly evil and got rid of his old Pikachu. Haha, kidding aside, you should hang out in the Pokémon Anime sub-forum, because you seem to have interesting opinions about it! :D

This place will be your second home for sure. ;D I hope you'll try your best to stay active! I mean I, too, don't have English as my second language. But it slowly improved, and a huge contributor to that was this place right here! It won't be too long before your English becomes top-notch yourself because you're already really good at it! I'm sure posting around the forums will help you a lot. Apart from that, you should just enjoy yourself and other people's company. :3 Enjoy everything, really. So yeah, welcome to PC!

Thank you for the link Cid, you are absolutely right about G/S/C version which is, in my opninion, the best realized Pkmn games becuase is simply wonderful to return to Kanto after the Elite4 and notice that something has changed since Red's journey; (this always makes me think that there were two games in one cartridge xD)
