Hey! I'm Ryan from Australia! I'm currently 18 and an experienced and veteran pokemaniac who's been there since the start :)
    Nice t' meetcha :)

    Hey Ryan!

Welcome to PokeCommunity, PC for short.

There's lots of Australians here as well in PC! I guess I can consider be considered as one veteran pokemaniac as well, since I played the games since like 2000? But I am not really interested in the game mechnanics, well, maybe, perhaps you might be interested in it.

Nice to meetya, VM me if need someone to talk to, once again, welcome to PC!

I've been a fan since the start myself - Pokemon's just that addicting to hold our interests for so long. The amazing Red and Blue hooked me instantly and I've been playing and watching Pokemon since! What was your first Pokemon game? :D

There are a loooot of people here from Australia.. and I mean a lot, hehe. I'm personally from New York (boo) but you're going to run into a fair few people around the forum from your timezone. :) Since you're experienced, I'm sure your opinions would be valued across all of our Pokemon-related boards, so check 'em out! The Current Generation Pokemon Discussion would be a good place to talk about the newer generations as well as trading and battling, and is quite a popular spot for newer members. Can also check out the awesome General Pokemon Gaming Discussions section, where you can get involved in threads related to the older generations (1-4), spinoff games, challenges, and the Pokemon gaming world as a whole. But if you like the anime, TCG, manga, or other parts of the franchise outside the games, you should check out the Alternate Pokemon Discussions for a good talk about any of those topics, which includes things like clubs and Pokemon-related forum games.

So yeah, I'm sure you'll have a great time so see you around the forum since there's a load to do here. Feel free to post in the Questions & Feedback board if you ever need help with something related to the community, but you can always private message a staff member if you'd prefer that. We're the members with the blue names, though there are staff with orange and red names who would be happy to help out, too.

By the way, does your username have a meaning? I can't help but think of Harry Potter when I see it, though I'm not sure why since I've never actually watched or read the books. :(

Anyways, see you around and great meeting you! Welcome to PokeCommunity!

Oh! Australia! I've always wanted to visit there (:

Anyway, welcome to the forum! Glad to have you join us. I'm sure PC feels a little intimidating at first, but don't worry, you'll know the way around in no time! Anything in particular your interested in? Your introduction is alittle short, tell us more about yourself!

Well, something everyone should check out is the new X and Y forum dedicated to the new games being released in October. It's sure to be the most active forum in the next few months to come with all the new information being released. We also have sections dedicated to all the games, and even non-pokemon sections including Video Gaming, Polls, and so much more!

If you need anything, ask! We'll be happy to help! Enjoy your time here!

I was only welcoming another Aussie yesterday. Welcome to PC, Ryan!

As the others said, we have several Australians present here, I happen to be one of them if you haven't seen already. PC is a big place and you may get lost at first but there's people here who can help you out. Is there any part of the forums you're particularly interested in? Do you have any favorite parts of Pokemon?

Cirno has recommended the various Pokemon sections for you, but we have loads of other places outside of them as well. The moderators are always happy to lend a helping hand if you get lost, so feel free to shout any of them a message and they will be glad to help you!

Have fun and I'll be seeing ya around!
