    Hello, my name is jknit65, and I am glad to be a part of the community! I am somewhat new to the pokemon series (first game I best was Diamond) and don't know most of the lingo and complicated strategies (such as IV and EV training), but I hope to have a pleasant experience and learn from all of you in the process!
     
    Welcome to PC, jknit65! <3 You can learn a whole lot here when it comes to Pokemon and we're definitely one of the best places for that. Everyone here are big fans and are always happy to assist you if you're confused about anything Pokemon-related.

    What game(s) are you playing right now? If you're trying out X/Y you should check out the Pokemon X & Y board and if you're looking to trade or battle, we have the Trade Corner and Battle Center to stop by whenever. Plenty of places for all sorts of fans! No worries if you're new to the franchise either, we have a lot of newer fans.. more than some people would expect, even.

    Glad that you've decided to join us too! Mmm, well, it's always nice to meet new pokemon fans, and I hope that you're enjoying the pokemon series so far! I'd also recommend trying out the past pokemon games, as well as the newer ones, if you haven't already! But you know, again, this community is pretty friendly, and would love to help you out with anything at anytime. :)

    IV and EV training took me a while to learn too, but, it's not so bad, once you've gotten the hang of it! If you hop on over to our Trade Corner, you'll find a thread called the Gen V & IV Breeding Guide which will give you a great guide on how to IV and EV train, and what it's all about! You can also ask our friendly and sweet Trade Corner mods for any sort of assistance if you have a question about anything. :3

    Thank you Sheep and Aura Blackquill for the encouragement! To answer your question, Sheep, I am currently playing Pokémon X and am up to the elite four in Black 2. I posted a thread on the Pokémon X and Y board about helping me build my team. If you wouldn't mind checking it out and helping me out, please do so when you can. Thanks ~<3!

    Your kindness is giving me this fuzzy feeling inside, never encountered a nice online community in awhile, and I look forward to making fellow pokemon fanatic friends!
