Ok now ive finally wised up and got a Blissey. I want to know the best moves and hold item. Ive heard choice band is good but any suggestions about the moves and held items I should use. Im getting Wifi soon and I want Blissey to be in my party.

    Here it is:
    Blissey lvl 63
    Nature:Rash
    Ability:Natural care
    Light Screen
    Egg bomb
    Softboiled
Double-edge (I like this because Blissey's HP is soooo high and the recoil takes very little damage out.)

Im really not proud of some of his stats
    HP:420
    Attack:52
    Defense:52
    Special Attack:134
    Sp.Def:179
    Speed:100

Tell me if he is good at the moment. Also tell me what Blissey needs to improve.

/THE/ best special wall in the game.

    lol

Okay, read the rules. WiFi sets the level to 100, but there are several problems with this blissey. First off, any nature that takes away from blissey's defense or special defense sucks. rash falls under that category, run bold.

Physical attacks just SUCK on blissey. egg bomb is lol, double edge is terribly lol. Stick to the standard:

    Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Natural Cure
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
    Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
    - Thunder Wave / Ice Beam
    - Softboiled
    - Seismic Toss / Ice Beam
    - Aromatherapy

the only attack besides seismic toss that is really any good on bliss is ice beam for McGar and the likes.

And actually accpet advice unlike in the past. thanks.

EDIT: Itachi, my pet flamer? My pet flamer is Jirachi ;)

You're supposed to post your future set ;/ and yeah, you need to breed to get aromatherapy and bold, not to mention that bliss basically needs a near-perfect Def IV.

    Hmm....

well, If you had access to Fire Red...I'll go with this moveset for Blissey.

    Blissey@Leftovers

    Counter
    Seismec toss
    Soft Boil
    Thunder Wave.

I would use one...but I'm part of the 30% of the people in the world that raises and breeds their own unique under utilized pokemon.

If you have a perfect Hp and Def it can survive and Electivires Cross Chop and an Mixed Infernapes Close Combat.

Well if you dont run Seismic Toss or dont have access to it run Ice Beam

    Blissey@Leftovers
    Bold Nature
    148 HP / 252 DEF / 104 SP.ATT / 4 SP.DEF
    Trait : Natural Cure
    - Ice Beam
    - Aromatherapy / Thunderbolt
    - Thunderwave / Protect
    - Softboiled / Wish

    Wish and Protect go together.

Also dont use physical moves on Bliss it has base 10 Attack XD

    - Ice Beam / Thunder Wave / Sing
    - Protect / Softboiled

    - Wish.

Fire blast is a big fat no Blissey does have the Defenses to do it, but yeah, it's pretty much 2HKO'd by Infernape's Close Combat, not good. Infernape is pretty darn common, and even the, they'll switch in the approite to counter to 2HKO. (It's always a 2HKO with Bliss) Fire Blast, though, is just no, overall.

Protect is pretty self-explanatory. Though, if you need tht Set comment, I'll post it:

Fat Smogon: The general idea is to special wall just like in the first set, utilizing Wish then Protect to directly mirror the effects of Softboiled, or using Wish preemptively (with more than half of your HP intact, even at full health) then using the next turn to Toss or use any of the above "filler" moves. Obviously, don't use any SpA EVs if you forego Ice Beam.

The Wish/Protect combination is all the more appealing on Blissey in DP thanks in large to the popularity of Choice Users. The silver lining to this set resides in the fantastic safety net Protect casts over Blissey. At any point over around 50% HP, WishBliss will not be threatened by Pursuit users like Tyranitar, Weavile and Heracross simply because of Protect. She can Protect heads-up to see if they used Pursuit, intending to deal a heavy blow to a switching Blissey.

If they use Pursuit, Blissey will be Protected and can stay in and Wish the next turn while taking a 40 Base Power Pursuit assured to do less than 35% to it (assuming the threat stays in, which it may not), then follow up with Protect the subsequent turn to guarantee the 50% HP Recovery. If they attack straight up with one of their powerful STAB moves, you're more than free to switch out to the appropriate counter with which your team should be equipped anyway. And this becomes even more attractive when you factor in the possibility that the above Pursuit threats could likely have switched into a Wish in the first place.

Remember though, this strategy, like most, can be used against you if you rely too heavily upon it. Consider a Tyranitar heads-up against a Blissey that used Wish on the switch. Tyranitar uses Crunch as Blissey Protects, and then switches out of the full health Blissey to which it no longer poses such a large threat. But later, when Tyranitar is heads-up against the same Blissey, it uses a dangerous Dragon Dance as Blissey Protects, assuming that Tyranitar was of the Choice Band variety. Just something to keep in mind. Anyway, if you want to ensure Blissey stays alive longer, be it to pass Wishes or to endure as a Special Wall, you can run Softboiled over Protect.

Itachi, wishbliss is best with counter.

And no fire blast. It just wouldn't really do anything for it...and Rose Reaper, I personally hate SR on Bliss because it needs all 4 slots for other things ;)

It has 714 Hp if you ev train it.

Protect is to activate Wish as it takes one turn to restore you hp.

Ice Beam is generally better than Fire Blast due to bulky ground type pokemon whom often switch in expecting Thunderwave.
