So, i was brought up with first gen pokemon. Im only used to gameboy color w/ red blue yellow silver. But the nostalgia is great and brings me back. But im thinking of getting a game of some sort for ps4 or whatever else they have now. I like how i saw the graphics nowadays make color look stone age. So, question is, im looking to play with 1st gen pokemon mostly with something thats similar to gameboy but on tv?

Well, the only way to play Kanto with updated graphics on the TV, I think, would be to have Fire Red or Leaf Green (the third gen remakes of gen one) along with a Nintendo GameCube and a GameCube Gameboy player.

If you want a similar experience to old school Pokemon on the TV, maybe Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.

A gen one and two experience on the TV?
Either Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee for the Nintendo Switch or a gen one/two cartridge on Pokemon Stadium 1 or 2 for the N64 but even that is outdated. The former is the best option.
