Hello PC, this post is the first thing I've done after creating my account. I've been actively using this site looking at ROM hack information and decided to finally create an account lol. I hope to meet and gain information from the nice people I've seen throughout my time reading threads.
Two days ago I just started learning the ways around map building, I have zero experience with making a hack but I've been so excited to do this for a few years, now I have the downtime to really feel confident in putting the energy into making a ROM hack. I'm currently making my attempt with Platinum and also would like to figure out how to use Gen 3 for a hack.
My first Pokémon game was in 2002-03 and it was Red. Then I moved on to Crystal, and years later I got Emerald. Gen 3 is still my favorite era of games at 28 years old. It may be the nostalgia glasses, but I will defend Hoenn until I die lmao.
I'm very happy to join this space. I'm going to head out with my wife to do some things, but I hope I can engage with some comments when I'm back home. Take care everyone and thanks for reading if you made it this far <3
