Hey Vivian, welcome to PC! :) I feel ya on being awkward, it's all good. The people here are pretty chill so I bet you'll feel fine after a while and you'll definitely find some people with the same interests as you. If you'd like to talk some time and maybe want some help navigating the forum, I'll be happy to do that for you. I'll shoot you a quick friend request if you'd like :)
Also just a side note, I think you should try the Pokecommunity Fanclub out, there are some pretty nice people that are members of that. I personally own Club Fairy Tail which is in the Anime/Manga section if you're into that. I used to own the Ghost Type Fanclub but that died off...for now.
