I've been lurking here for a couple weeks and I finally decided to join. Just wanted to say that I am happy to apart of this community and that I look forward to many things!

Welcome to PC Mega_Umbreon!!
Glad you decided to join PC after lurking around. After all, its always better to be a part of something than just watch, right? :P
I hope you and im sure you'll have a lot of fun around here. So what do you like best about Pokemon?
Is it the Pokemon themselves? Competitive Battling? Trading? No matter what you are looking for, there is plenty of sections to check out.
If you ever need any help, look out for the Moderators, who have their name in either Blue Orange or Red.
And of course, always make sure to follow the rules :P

Glad to hear you're excited to be part of the forum. People that are anxious to participate get the most out of this place since you have so, so much to do. Go on and get involved - plenty of boards all around for all sorts of people, whether you want to discuss X and Y, trade/battle, join some clubs, try ROM hacking, or what have you.
If you need suggestions on where to check out feel free to let us know! We're all happy to provide tips for the confused new member as we were all there at one point, haha. My personal suggestions for places to help you get settled in are Pokemon Clubs, Fan Clubs & Groups, and Chit Chat Cafe.. all three are fantastic sections where you can kick back and relax.
Of course there's more where that came from, too! Enjoy your time and see you. :D

That's good you are actually excited to get involved, I love seeing newbies feel confident like that. Like what Sheep said before there's so much you can do here, and having a new face on board no matter where your interest is. Wouldn't hurt to tell us more about you so that we can show you around more easily and also you might find some potential new friends through your interests. Sheep's suggested a few places worth checking out if you want to make some friends quickly.
Aside from that, I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay here at PC and if you need help ask any staff members. I'm always around if you want a new friend or just to chat! Have fun Umbreon and take care! I'll be looking forward to seeing you.

Thanks for so many replies! I think I like everything about Pokemon since it shaped my childhood. I also hunt for shinies via Masuda Method. Just came here to meet new people with the same interests as me. My friend and I are learning to ROM hack too so I think we will check the Emulation threads out. Thanks for the warm welcome!
