Hi everyone! I'm not new to Pokemon but I'm pretty new to forums. I'm really interested in the adventures/special manga :D and the games (current favorite is AS) but haven't watched the show. My favorite pokemon is Scizor even though I barely use it in game.

I hope to meet some great people here :)!

Wahey manga fans. I don't see many people who read the Pokémon manga. Then again I'm one of those people who read the Kanto saga and then forgot to keep up with it but what I did read was absolutely amazing. I'd definitely like to get back into it. Have you checked the Pokémon General forum yet? It's the best place to discuss the manga so we would definitely love having you there. 8D

Yeah seems like manga fans here are pretty rare, the general doesn't really have a lot of manga related threads eh :P anyways thanks for the info! btw just one question, if I wanted to start a manga related thread, would I just post it in the general forum or should the manga only be discussed in the manga list & chit-chat section?

I haven't met many manga fans here, so it's nice to meet you! You haven't watched the main series? I'm really surprised! I haven't read the manga, but I'd imagine that you'd find a lot of differences between the two. I'm not a huge fan of manga, but I might just check out the Pokémon and Legend of Zelda ones.

Are you a fan of any other mangas, or is Pokémon the only manga that you've read?

Yeah this is the only manga I've read and I have seen a little bit of the 4koma and the gag series mangas.

I might check out the show :) heard the new X and Y one was pretty good and tbh I haven't really kept up with the latest chapters of the manga since his writing has been getting worse imo mainly because he's writing three chapters at once.

I've only read the first arc of it, then I got kinda bored, haha...never really been a manga person, though. If you're considering checking out the show, I'd recommend checking out the Pokemon Anime section - amongst other things there are threads dedicated to discussion of the most recently aired episode, which might help sway you in one direction or another! Although catching up at this stage would be pretty daunting, haha.

Yeah kinda weird eh :P I think I've watched like a couple episodes of the show like a decade ago as a little kid xD but I've only recently gotten back into Pokemon. I don't really read mangas too and I know adventures isn't the most well written thing but I just enjoy it. It gets better later on, the Ruby and Sapphire arc was probably my favorite.
I'm definitely interested in the show so I'll check out that section thanks !
