What is it that made the game hard for you? I'm pretty certain you can get the help you need at any of the simple questions threads at any of the gaming sections of your choice. Hopefully you can get the answers you need over there! You can also check out the discussion threads in any of those sections as well, you might find the answers there too.
In the meantime, all the members here and the staff are pretty helpful. Don't be shy to ask questions should you have any, alright? :3 Have fun on your first Pokemon game! You will LOVE IT. See ya around~

Is Pokémon Emerald 386 a ROM hack? What's the difference this and the original? It's got access to all 386 Pokémon, I'm guessing? :] Sounds really fun! May give it a try someday myself; it's been a while since I last played a hack... not exactly sure what it was, though, but I think it could be Liquid Crystal. It's a hack of FireRed, featuring storyline from Pokémon Crystal. Since you're a fan of ROM hacks, you should check out our Emulation section. We've got a ton of hacks there; you'll enjoy them, I'm sure! Anyway, aside from Emerald 386, have you played any other Pokémon games? If not, I think you should probably give X and Y a try, since they're the latest. I currently have Y; got it after the day it was released. Took me only about two weeks to get it finished, haha.

Pokemon can get a little tough in certain occasions, like when we used to battle Whitney at the Goldenrod gym at G/S/C? Ugh, that was a doosey. But you know, with enough practice, you'll be able to get loads better on Pokemon in no time at all! So cool that you've started that you've started on Pokemon Emerald, by the way; I really adore the game, and it's been one of my favourite games for quite sometime now!
Don't be shy on trying to get to know us, and I hope that I will get to know you soon! Feel free to share your pokemon experience around the forums by coming into various pokemon topics, and I hope that you'll enjoy posting! The staff members around here will help you out just in case anything goes south. It's great to meet you, and may we meet again. :3

And sometimes I find it hard if comes to some parts of Pokémon, but we can still enjoy it right? And I'm glad that you managed to try to check out all of the Pokémon when you play Pokémon Emerald 386, I have heard about that hack actually. You can tell more about yourself, and like the others said, don't be shy, we're really open :)

Emerald wasn't my first game but it was one of my absolute favorites; I replay it a lot even now, especially for doing challenges. What other Pokemon games have you played if any? Do you have plans to try out X and Y? You'll have plenty to discuss here from all things Pokemon to off-topic discussions on pretty much anything so be sure to stick around and explore. Otherwise we would be sad, right? ~(⁰▿⁰)~ Pokemon isn't too hard once you get the hang of it so soon enough you'll be really good, I'm sure; no worries.

Wow I didn't see any of these until now chrome hasn't been working right on my iPhone weird, well anyway right now I'm working on just beating the elite four a second time the elite fours level is like 95 at the champion and it gets difficult ^_^ thanks everyone for the warm introduction and I'll be glad to hang out with you guys.
