    Hello! I'm Shawn. I've come to Pokecommunity because I like how friendly everyone seems and I'd like to receive feedback on my own teams. I'm very fond of Dragon-types, Dragonite in particular, and I usually incorporate one into most of my competitive teams. I've recently discovered that my favorite kind of battling is stalling, which goes perfectly with Dragonite, a bulky pokemon itself, and my favorite aspect of Pokemon is the dedication to breeding and training your own perfect pokemon and being able to to call that pokemon yours, which is the reason why I very rarely use Pokemon creators (competitive legendaries ONLY, no exceptions). I hope to see you all around the forums!
     
    Check out the Battle Center for all things related to battling - you'll find a home there and will get plenty of assistance on teams and the like. I prefer random battles above all else since I really love the thrill of not knowing what Pokemon you'll get.. but then comes the fear of movesets and the like, haha. Hooray for online battle simulators that offer these fun battling styles to us! My teams in-game aren't quite ready yet.

    Anyways, welcome to PC! =) I hope you'll enjoy your time in the battling section as it's a pretty bustling board and has lots to do. If you're experienced with battling then you should consider helping out those who are just starting out; that good karma will come back to you eventually. I remember my days of being totally confused with IVs and the like so those few people who explained it to me were a big help.

    I love to use Dragon-type pokemon on my competitive teams too! Especially pokemon like Salamence, Dragonite, and Hydregion, as well as Altaria if my team allows it! Anyways, your best bet to gain feedback on your teams is indeed the battle center, where I can safely guarantee that you can get your team rated in full! I'm more of an offensive player myself, relying on strength to defeat opponents before they work on their stradegy, but really, I'm open to any strategy too. :3

    Well now, I hope to see you around the forums, and maybe we can battle someday on simulators, or on wi-fi! I'd love that, considering I love to battle new opponents!
