Have you ever seen someone cut in front of you while you wait in line? Or you cut in front of someone? How did you feel when someone cut in front of you? Tell the place that this person cut in front of you(i.e at the cafeteria at school, movies, music concert).

    Discuss.

I have a few people cut in front of me, but they have cut about maybe two or three people before me. So I am not going to be the one that will cause the ruckus. It will be the two or three people that this person cut in front of. I am not going to make a fool of myself.

I always cut in front of people at lunch and other usually cut back in front of me. Often the people really don't mind xD.

people cut in the school cafeteria all the time, and i don't really care. it's annoying when it's more than 2 people though. a lot of times the other people in line don't care either, but oh well

but usually in public, i.e. snack lines and bathrooms, people have common decency and don't cut

People have cut in front of me before on lines, such as the cafeteria line or a line for a ride. In most cases, it's because someone saved a spot for them on line. I hate that. It really annoys me.

I'm always the one that's doing the cutting. Our lunch line can get massive within a minute into the period. Assuming I didn't cut class, I usually get there really late. But no worries, cutting time! =D

I always go to the front of the line and either have someone that'll let me slip in, or just go to the front, and stay there. And they don't do anything!

As for kids cutting me... as long as I know them, I'm good with it. xD

I'm not bothered when they do, and I might do it myself according to that quote "treat others how you wish to be treated" ... but following that (which so many people agree with, don't forget!) is a bad idea when they will get pissy about it. Well isn't that selectively convenient.

Yes people cut in front of me all the time, I rarely do but sometimes I like to return the favour; I get sorta frustrated if I have been waiting for ages in a long line and then someone cuts in. I prefer not to cut in lines escpecially at school since some people have short tempers.

That happenes quite regularly at lunch, to practically everybody. I just grumble and settle for waiting longer.

Everybody cuts the line. Even I do sometimes. Its really easy since we form more of a blob than a line. Its funny to see teachers try and control the problem, actually.
Usually though, I just wait until the line dies down to go and get my lunch.

When I was at highschool, friends would always cut in line. It was really annoying. Because of it, sometimes I or someone I knew, or just generally people around me, would lose out on pizza or some other similar food that was really popular.

Made me want to yell at them a few times. Friggin' annoying.

I've done it before when there's a lineup and I have a friend near the front and, instead of heading to the back of the line, I'll cut in with them. Most recently that I can think of was before reading week this year and my friend was in line to catch a Greyhound bus. I needed to take the same bus and by the time I got to the line (about 40 minutes before the bus was scheduled to get there), it was huuuge. He was about 30 people in and I just sort of... stood with him, lmao. @_@;;I don't think I would've made it on the bus if I hadn't, so... I do not regret it. (And luckily, everyone who would care about one extra person butting in was so far down the line they couldn't say something, ahaha.) :>

It doesn't bother me too much if someone already knows someone in a line and butts in that way because it's rare that I'm in line for something so important that I can't wait for an extra person or two to do their thing at the front, but I'll definitely call someone on cutting the line if they're alone. :/ That's just not cool.

I've had people do it to me all the time. At the Airport, at the grocery store, and it always happens at the movies. I tend to call them out on it, they get embarassed and go to the end of the line

If you're in line with someone and they're already in line, that's one thing. Like Erica's example, if I've got a friend who's already in line and we're planning on doing whatever it is together (getting on a bus/ride/whatever) I'll join them in line, and I don't mind other people doing the same. But I hate it when people just cut right in front of you out of the blue with no good reason. They need to learn to wait their turn. I usually just shoot them a look, but I don't make a scene over it.

People in highschool were generally good about not cutting in the cafeteria. Usually one person would stand in line in the place of all his friends, and then 10 of his friends would come in at once and the good food would be taken. That could get annoying. xD

But I don't really care when people cut. Not that big a deal, I don't mind waiting a few extra minutes.

Yeah, I've been cut in line before. Doesn't bother me any, it's just a line. No, I usually don't cut; I'm too afraid to even if I wanted to. I hate starting drama, and some people will get mad about it. If I cut it's on accident.

It's easier when your place in line isn't a matter of having to wait forever for the next bus or meal or tickets or not getting anything at all, though; we were at a book signing last month and since we were all getting our books signed no matter where we were, we didn't care if people cut.

Have you ever seen someone cut in front of you while you wait in line?
Yes and I hate it. But if it's friends, I wave it off.

Or you cut in front of someone?
I cut ALL THE TIME. Bad, I know.

How did you feel when someone cut in front of you?
Blah. I usually care, but sometimes I don't.

Tell the place that this person cut in front of you.
    Uhmm. The cafeteria mostly.

Have you ever seen someone cut in front of you while you wait in line?
Yes, though four times out of five it's somebody in front of me letting their group of six friends in line.

Or you cut in front of someone?
Not usually, and only on rare occasions. Usually when I do it's because I don't even notice the person behind me or I think they're in a different line for something else.

How did you feel when someone cut in front of you?
I get annoyed but I don't usually challenge the person.

Tell the place that this person cut in front of you.
In line at the Wendy's at the student union.

At this point I believe I should mention that I HATE standing in line. It's like, in the thousands of years that civilization has progressed, we still have not found a more efficient way to serve people than to make them stand in a hot, uncomfortable line?

I tend to feel bad about it, but I still do cut sometimes, usually because my friends want me to stand in the lunch line with them. If they're really far ahead though, I just go the back of the line and wait until we get to the lunch table.

People cut in front of me all the time for lunch, though, its just the way things work xD So I don't make a big deal out of it unless I continuously get pushed back in the lunch line. That's when it kind of gets annoying.
