    Ok, so I've never done anything like this before and this is not gonna be great but I wanted to get myself out there.

    I'm completely new to this website. My name is Bryse and I'm 15.

    I love Pokémon. I've loved it since I got my first game when I was 7. Its been there for me when I needed it and its helped me through some hard times. Which is why I want to start getting a bit more active and find some people who love Pokémon as much as I do. Because none of my friends like it.

    I have to say that's one very awesome yet unique name you have, I seem to get attracted towards those sorts of names for some reason. But yeah, glad to have you on board because we are a very active community and in fact everyone here has had Pokemon involved in their life at some point, we even have loads of members in their teens to early 20's who still love Pokemon today, even me.

    I've been a fan since 7 as well, although I was 11 when I first played a real Pokemon game. I'm sure you may be able to make some new friends during your time at PC, and I also advise you read the rules or ask a staff member in the blue, orange and red if you need help. Have fun!

    Ooh, I got my first game when I was 7, too! That's pretty awesome. You're going to find so many people here who adore the series as much as you and it's the perfect haven for meeting new Pokemon fans. I mean, we are PokeCommunity, after all. A lot of our members have been into Pokemon for a long time though we also have our fair share of newer fans, making this a really diverse place. Are there any Pokemon games you're a little more into than the rest? Right now X & Y is really trending since the games are super popular; a lot of our members are posting around the Pokemon X & Pokemon Y board to give us their thoughts on that, so why not be a part of all that discussion? :D You can discuss the new Pokemon, new areas, new characters, and anything else that has been revealed so far.

    But hm.. if you're big on the concepts of the Pokemon world as well as the manga or Pokemon merchandise, I'd also suggest Pokemon General for you. You can discuss concepts/theories about the Pokemon world there and talk about anything relating to Pokemon as a whole and how everything works. That board has been really popular lately and its regular would be thrilled to have more participants join 'em. You can also look into joining a Pokemon club sometime as I'm sure there are at least a few open that would catch your eye; be sure to read the first post of a club, fill out the join form, and get discussing! I have a club open right now as well and can vouch for how much of a fun board it is. You're really going to love it. :)

    But of course, even outside of Pokemon and on the occasion you want to take a break from discussing the series, you can also scroll a bit further down the main forum index and participate in all the off-topic boards we have, yeah?! They're really great and perfect if you're looking to chat about music, anime, current world news, and so on. I'm sure they'd be great for you as they're one of our most popular areas, usually being just as active as the Pokemon boards. Up to you but hopefully some of these suggestions catch your eye, hehe.

    Looks like Hikari and Cirno, my two friends, have shown you around here at PC on what we have to offer! And like you, I was young when I started to play Pokémon, except I've been playing for a little longer than you. And you'll meet lots of friendly people here! :)

    As a reminder, please be sure that you look over the rules, so that you do not wind up getting into trouble at all.. the last thing we want to see here is a new member getting an infraction just by not abiding to a small rule :(

    First off, Umbreon is awesome. He's my all time favorite Pokemon, so props for your avatar! Anyway, welcome to the site. The site may look huge and overwhelming at first, but you'll get the hang of it in no time. The members here are also extremely nice and welcoming as you can see, so don't be shy! And if your looking for people who share in interest in Pokemon like you, you obviously came to the right place (:

    Some sections you should check out include the General Pokemon Gaming section where you can chat about all the Pokemon games from RBY to BW 2, the new X and Y forum where you can chat and speculate about the two new upcoming 3DS games, the Pokemon Anime section for if you enjoy watching Ash and Pikachu on their adventures, and the Pokemon General section for all general Pokemon discussions.
