Hello, all, I go by Terra1050 here, and although I joined awhile ago, I never introduced myself. I'm pretty introverted and tend to keep to myself, but lately I've been thinking I should at least introduce myself. I'm not just new to the forums, I'm rather new to Pokemon as well, and have much to learn about the franchise. If anyone has any tips for a newbie, I'd love to hear some! While I also love Pokemon, I'm also fan of other games, like Animal Crossing, MarioKart, and LoZ (BOTW and TOTK). Aside from gaming, I'm also into anime, Marvel/DC, LOTR, and much more. Although I tend to stay quiet on forums like this, I'm open to making new friends and chatting with some people on here, especially if it pertains to Pokemon!

We've also got a couple of clubs on the PC dedicated to some of your other hobbies in the event you want to join those. Could help you meet other site users into the same things as you beyond Pokemon.
Edit: Also, I gotta ask. You mentioned liking DC, your PC username wouldn't happen to be a reference to the DC character of the same name, would it?

It is alright, there are more introverted people on these forums than you might think! No worries, you can talk about what you want as you please and at your own pace. I can suggest a Pokémon fan game similar to the main games, called Zeta / Omicron!

Thanks for the warm welcome! I joined because I've been around here for a bit as a lurker, and this looks like a nice, friendly, and fun community to interact with. I also figured I might learn some things about Pokemon, since like I said, I'm relatively new to the Pokemon scene.

I think I'm most interested in the main series games at the moment, like for the switch, but also for the older consoles as well, since I have a 3ds as well.
It's good to know that there are some other forum threads and clubs dedicated to some of my other interests, thanks for letting me know!
Also, you're referring to the Teen Titans character right? That's actually pure coincidence, and Terra was a nickname a friend gave me and that just stuck with me haha.

As for favorite Pokemon, it's actually really hard to narrow it down, as I haven't had a ton of experience with Pokemon yet, but as you can see by my profile pic, I love Eevee, and all of their adorable eeveelutions! I also think bulbasaur and snorlax are really cute.

The Eeveelutions certainly are! Eevee is quite cute, and as all eeveelutions start out as eevee, I obviously love eevee by default, but I also really like jolteon and umbreon! I find them all to be cute though!
As for anime, I enjoy many. Some of my favorites are the years are AOT, Jujutsu Kaisen, Bungo Stray Dogs, Tokyo Ghoul, Wolf's Rain, Steins:Gate, and most recently, I've been getting into Spy X Family, and Cells at Work is pretty cute too. As for movies, I've been a die hard fan of Studio Ghibli ever since I was like 6.

AOT is the first Manga I finished, and one of the few anime I finished, never watched jujutsu tho, kinda busy for this stuff lately

Great question! I often ask myself why it took me so long to dive into the world of Pokemon. I've known about Pokemon ever since I was little due to it's popularity, but hesitated to get into the gaming and community aspect since most of the fans I knew were die hard fans that were super serious about it, and it kind of intimidated me when I was younger cause I though it was a lot more complicated and difficult than it really was. I also was just interested in different games when growing up (Fossil Fighters was what actually what sparked my very first interest in Pokemon since it has a very similar play style). One of my best friends loves the game franchise, and she encouraged me to try it. I've yet to play any games, but have been serious about trying some Pokemon games out, whether they be main series titles or even spin offs.

I'm a new member of this place, I arrived a few minutes ago.
And I must say, these are good games!
Animal Crossing is fun to play, just like The Legend Of Zelda. Mario Kart is challenging, I admit, but it's also an excellent game.
I have to say, I've always found the Marvel/DC games a little confusing, but they are incredible. I'm sure most of us have dreamed of being Spider-Man when we grow up, though. Spider-Man is a symbol, and always has been.
However, Pokémon games and other Pokémon-related things have had a big impact on many people's lives, including my own.

And I must say, these are good games!

Awesome! Seems we maybe have similar tastes when it comes to games! Yes, the Marvel/DC universes can get pretty confusing honestly (especially the comics, which I don't know as much about), but I still enjoy watching the movies a great deal!
