    Hello all! The name's Dayne, and I'm pretty excited to join this community! I haven't played Pokemon in a long time, since Pearl. Grew up on Generation I and II, and have the Gen III games and Pearl, but just never got around to continue on. I heard about X and Y and I think I'll get back into Pokemon with a new generation, and hoping to one day to catch them all, since I never did as a child because I didn't have the resources like we do today! I'm looking to make friends with many people and just become apart of this community!

    My plans for X and Y are to complete the entire Dex and maybe breed for people (even though it is probably useless since you can hack and cheat everything these days lol).

    I hope to get to know as many people as possible, and hopefully make some connections and when X and Y comes out, because Pokemon is just ten times more fun with other people!
     
    Hey there Dayne, welcome to PokeCommunity o/ Ha, I see what you did there with your username. Anyhow, perhaps you would enjoy discussing the Gen I and II games here and the Gen III games here? Or maybe you would like to discuss and speculate about the the upcoming X and Y over here. Post around and you'll definitely make some friends o 3o

    As for catching them all and breeding, you could always head over to Trade Corner when you are ready. We still have plenty of trading going on even with all this hacking >.<

    Which one do you plan to get? I myself am leaning towards getting Y because of Yveltal, cuz it looks cool.
     
    Hey i like the username (im new here too) i love the gen 1 and II games but i particularly love gen III. I intend to get Pokemon X im curious which one will you choose :D. I hope you get into breeding its actually fun to do haha i always wanted to coordinate with another breeder regarding pokemon ( dont ask me how that works)
     
    To be honest, I have no clue which one I will get! Maybe both, but who knows!

    And I could see it working by having someone to trade with and help work with you! I think it would be a lot of fun!

    Hello there Dayne! Haven't played in a while either, so I'm on the same boat as you. I, on the other hand, grew up on generation III, so I'm all about the Mudkips you know. Not sure if I'll be getting X and Y, maybe next year when I think I got back into Pokemon for good.

    Oh, friends you'll have plenty of here! Don't be afraid to drop a vm or two! I only completed the pokedex in White, but that's it. Hoping to complete Emerald's Pokedex as well, but from the looks of it, it's not happening anytime soon.

    Hello Dayne, welcome to PC!

    I have to say, awesome username you have. TM87 is Swagger in the games and going by your avatar depicting all those Pokemon with sunglasses it looks like you have your Swagger on lol. Tabor has probably shown you the sections you might be interested in, and I'm kinda surprised you haven't played any 4th or 5th Generation games yet. You should definitely play them sometime so you can catch up on what you missed. I loved Platinum, HeartGold/SoulSilver, Black/White and Black 2/White 2 due to the great features and I loved the storyline of the latter two pairs as well, Black and White I do have to admit have the darkest and most epic story ever in a Pokemon game. I hope to see you around the forums and maybe you might even make a new friend!

    Remember that we have moderators (like Tabor over there, and also our resident mod of this very section, Cirno) who can help you out if have any questions. Don't hesitate to approach them if you ever need a helping hand because, well, after all staff members are here to help you!

    I've played through Pearl, but never got around to 5th gen! I kind of want to keep all the features from Black and White a surprise and I can just learn on the spot, make it seem all new and interesting. But that's just me haha.
