How is everyone? Names Michael I have been a huge fan of Poke since Gen I, and played through GenIII took a brake for a good long time then picked back up in Gen V. I love the electronic games, TCG, and all things related to the little guys. I am now getting back into it full force and looking for a great regular community.

That's really awesome to hear. :D Welcome to PC, Michael, and good to meet you!

I've been playing since R/B myself and am still going strong as a big fan so it's great having other long-time Pokemon lovers around. Do you have a favorite generation? Have you played OR/AS? Those games are my obsession right now given how much of a step-up they are from the original Ruby and Sapphire, baha. So much of a step up like you have no idea. ♥

And are you into the Pokemon TCG? Do you play TCGO? We have a great little Pokemon TCG forum here if you'd ever like to stop by and contribute. The more the better. Enjoy your time on PokeCommunity and I hope you had a great holiday. :)

    Big welcome to PokéCommunity, Michael!

Like you, I've also been a follower of these games since generation one. Which version did you wind up getting? Me--it was Blue, which my dad had given me as a Christmas present. I loved it as soon as I'd started playing; at least in my eyes, it was very addictive! My most favorite game, however, would likely have to be Emerald version (a lot of it is due to nostalgic purposes), with Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire being second.

If you aren't into competitive side of Pokémon at the moment, I would definitely recommend you to try it out! It gives us chance to look at Pokémon in a completely different way, so to speak; I'm sure you will enjoy. Anyhow, I hope you have a great time here, dear, and have fun. See you around!

@sheep yes I have OR and my wife AS, what's your friend code. And yes well I had blue red green yellow lol, but red is my love charmander is my baby I love my little guy.

Hello Michael and welcome aboard! That's cool to see both you and your wife play the Pokemon games, it's always fun when you involve the family and it shows Pokemon can be for anyone.

Pretty cool to see you have all the 1st Gen games, they're still faves among many older fans today and who could blame for that since the original 151 was where it all left off and that's why those Pokemon are still loved today. How are you enjoying OR/AS? I'm currently playing Alpha Sapphire and I can say the new-look Hoenn really is eye candy and it's been reminding me of the good old times when I was an 11-year-old playing Ruby.

Given the others have covered some of your interests, there's not much else I can leave here but good luck and I hope you can stick around with us. If you ever need anything, the staff members and myself are always happy to talk!
