    ah nothing much, ive been single for over a year now, still without a car, still playing tennis but only on the club team at my university, not on varsity. im moving into an apartment with three of my best friends in august which im super pumped about, and i got accepted to be a volunteer at a computer graphics conference in LA in late july, so that's dope

    they're coming along well. i really came into my own first year of college and just kind of stopped doubting myself intellectually, and that allowed me to really blossom and fulfill some of my potential that i felt i had all throughout 1-12th grade lol. i think the clean slate college provided was a main proprietor for my change in motivation, as well as i guess being able to see that my success in school directly correlates to getting a job that i'll get paid well for/enjoy doing, so i feel more inclined to study hard. right now im trying to hone my programming skills and try to pick up some basic graphics software and then hopefully begin researching their APIs by the end of the summer, so i'm more properly prepared for next fall's classes.

    Aw thanks so much, that actually means a lot to me, music is a huge part of my life. I've been listening to a ton of blackbear's new album, and Khalid's as well. Lipstick Gypsy's song The Cure is my anthem right now, I listen to it daily. Other than that, stuff like Tame Impala, Last Dinosaurs, Russ, XO by Eden is amazing as well... AJR and Bumpin Uglies too. That about somes it up, combined with all the stuff I used to listen to :]

    Thankfully I reside in Austin where people aren't as hard to bear. However, not so thankfully, I go to college at Texas A&M which is in a town called College Station, which is basically a farm town that epitomizes most Texan stereotypes. So I definitely am living through two stark opposites as it stands. I have to say though, I appreciate not having to deal with cold weather. About A&M, I chose there over UT because I wanted to be away from home, and while I don't regret the decision, Cstat can get on my nerves pretty often. I've grown to love it though; the community there is very inviting and loving, as long as you find the right people, and they're in there (over 60,000 students). Other parts of Texas I can't comment on much.

    It's good. A&M has a really competitive club team so the level of play hasn't gone down too much from juniors, and I have a lot more fun with it since the practices aren't mandatory, I can go whenever I want and practice for as long as I want. I did decently when I had time to play; I got a couple of singles wins and a doubles crown, but they were all local, A&M club-only tournaments - I didn't have much time to go to any of the tournaments against other colleges out of town. I'm gonna make an effort to in the fall semester though!
