In HG/SS, one of the new areas was the Safari Zone. This Safari Zone doesn't have a step limit, and you can customize it in any way you want to get certain Pokémon. Apparently, the longer you leave a certain area in your custom safari zone, the more blocks you can put down.
Did you venture through the HG/SS Safari Zone? What did you think of it?
I really liked this one, as you can manipulate what Pokémon you want to appear with objects, depending on the areas you have set. I've been able to get Skorupi to appear. It's petty difficult, though.
