    A HG/SS styled evolution scene for Pokémon Essentials for those that doesn't like the original evolution animation.

    How to install
    Copy and paste the script in script.txt above main.
    Also, if you want the bg, paste evolutionbg.png in Graphics/Pictures

    Thank you very much. The old evolution animation was really ugly in my opinion and this one works flawless together with the Elite Battle System.

    I was using an evolution stone to evolve a Pokemon, and after the evolution sequence ran its course (It did successfully evolve, it displayed the congrats message and fanfare), the game showed a blank text box (as shown in the picture) and then that error showed up.
    Any suggestions on how to fix?

    I've seem people with this problem too but I'm totally unable to recreate it.
    Are you using the lastest Pokémon Essentials version?
    Also, can you give me some info about the Pokémon? Did it learn any move when evolve at that level or something?
     
    I'm using Version 14 of Essentials (Forgot to mention that, that's probably the cause of the issue). The Pokemon doesn't learn any moves at the level I evolved it.

    The "firstmoves" was a feature of v15, since in the official games pokemon that are hatched can relearn egg moves they were born with later in the game.
     
    Why does your evolution script care about that, though? It clears the array of initial moves, but I've not seen anything that says this is how the official games behave.
     
    That's odd. I'm not sure why I put that line there, then. You might as well remove it, rather than add the method definition - it'll be removed in the next version of Essentials.
     
    Hi! nice script, but i've a problem, the black bands are transparent and i can see my team behind!
    How can i fix it? Thank you very much in advise!

    EDIT: My fault! The problem appears only when use "Force Evo" in pokemon Debug menu!

    This is my favourite Kleinstudio!! Great stuff is it possible to add that sound effect of the start of the evolution.
