I am new here and keen on discussing and learning as i go. Thank you all :-D

Aww well that's nice of you to say thank you. Thank you for joining PC, Mikah!

I know that you're going to learn loads of new things you never even knew about Pokemon until now, I remember being a newbie almost 3 years ago (in fact my 3rd anniversary is next Wednesday go figure) and I learned so much about Pokemon, and I remember when I was following the news for both Black 2/White 2 and X/Y in the lead up to their release. Now I've played the games myself and I loved them, and I stuck around ever since. Why not tell us more about you so we can show you around the forums and what sections might suit you the best?

Well, I hope you enjoy your stay here, take part in the many discussions and make some new friends. The staff members are always on hand, such as the resident Welcome Lounge mods Dragon and Autumn Reverie who you can always ask for any assistance you may need. I'm always happy to meet new friends so feel free to leave me a visitor message or even a friend request if you want.

Have fun at PC, Mikah! Catcha 'round the forums!

    Thanks Hikari.
That sounds great, i am yet to complete black/white 2 because of a ds issue, and as for x/y i am getting a 2ds next week. I would prefer 3ds but im on a limited budget and found a 2ds with pokemon x (i think) and another game for a reasonable price.

A bit about me. As a kid before pokemon i would catch raise and breed bugs and insects, i had a fish aquarium (dry of course) and multiple jars/containers to store them. I would colect sticks, dirt etc and auild little enviroments for them. I learnt how to catch them without hurting them very quick. My faveroit to catch were flys and dragon flys as i found them most diffiacult. But ultimately my faveroite to raise by far were praying mantis. Truely amazing creatures.
I would also find sick or injured animals and nurse them back to health. I spent most of my time (apart from school) exploring the bush, city, beach and mudflats. Hunting creatures even catching little fish and crabs with my bare hands :-D and Collecting things, coins, marbles etc, i even found an expensive cigar, an antique sword burried in mudflats with asian writing on it, a live shell about the size of a drink bottle, money to a 5 dollar note and a bag of coins around 50 dollars in a crashed 4wd, it was taken n by the adults though haha and many more things. I did not watch t.v or do much apart from this, that is until i got my first gameboy with pokemon (red from memory??) It was the old brick black and white machine. Once i started playing i got absorbed in it. It was very much how i lived but diferent, it was amazing. I would sneak off to my hiding places and play and play for a long time. I had a few gb in that time. Then i got gbc it was the purple transparent with a lifetime gurantee. I remember playing it alot, sitting in the boot of a car playing for 5-7 hours haha. Until i was forced to sell it so i bought a giant black beetle that lonked like herrcross (he wasnt out then i just liked bugs). also started collecting toys and cards of pokemon. I watched the anime and a few movies when i got older. But not properly, i just started watching from ep1 recently and a couple of movies.
I was a competitive tcg player till the end of last year. And currently i just got into hacks, am getting a 2ds, watching the anime and have thrashed the main games apart from bw2 and x y. Sorry for such a long post i got carried away haha.
    Thanks

    Mikah :-D

I think it's awesome to have you here too! :D Welcome to our forums bud, and it's really nice to meet you! Call me Dragon, or Shawn, if you prefer!

I really adore insects too! As a kid, I love watching things like dragonflys, or stick bugs, going around the area! I think Spiders are really cute lil'critters too, despite what some people might say. I guess I like to think that Spiders are more afraid than us than we are of them, so, there's really no reason to afraid of em', y'know? I also had a silkworm moth as a pet as a kid, but, yeah they quickly die out because of their life span, booo. :(

Anyways, there's the Emulation & ROM Hacking board if you want to get into some ROM Hacks! The Hacks Showcase shows all of the completed hacks, and if you're interested on making a hack of your own someday, there are plenty of great tutorials and other resources you can use! So I hope you'll enjoy yourself, and remember that we're always here to give you a hand with anything! <3

Be seeing you Mikah, and have a great evening! I'm always here to assist you and give you a helping hand if you have any questions or concerns! Until then, haaave a great time! :3

Thanks Dragn nice to meet you too. Cool name by the way :-).

    Thats awesome!
And yes spiders are very strange but enjoyable to watch,
Its amazing how they multiply, dozens of little critters from one mother,
Also when i bred praying mantis they had alot but unfortunately the father dosnt get to see them as the female eats him after mating :O.
And definately the majority are scared of us but i have met some brave spiders!
A silkworm moth? I dont think ive come across one, may not be in my country.
Moths are amazing to look at but yea they are fragile creatures. Sorry your moth died, i remember what its like to lose a beloved flying critter.
I found a puriri moth as a kid, they are bright green and huge! It was bigger then my hand haha.

Cool thankyou i will check it out. I just learnt to download a clean rom and the latest beta and patch it, i was just downloading hacked roms and having issues, noobs these day haha
And i will definately be keen to start hacking, i have a few ideas. And im starting my path to game development/programming so itl fit in nicely :-D.

    Thankyou for your time Dragon.
And have a great week :-P

    Mikah.
