if you want to battle, the Battle Center is the place to be. Lots of people are waiting for a challenge there, so maybe you can give it to them? :)
Maybe you can tell us something about you? Or if you don't want to go real-life, then maybe things like "What pokémon games have you played?", "Which of them did you like best?" "What's your favourite type and/or pokemon?". This way you can let us know more about you :)
Anyway, I hope you will stay for a long, long time and if you have any questions or problems, ask around! everybody is as helpful as can be, so you will have your answers in no-time!

If you came for battling, Alpha has showed you the Battle Center section which has everything you need for your improvements in competitive play. There's discussions, as well as places to get help with your teams. There's a Pokemon Showdown server as well if you want to battle other members. I'm among the regulars there so feel free to pop by anytime.
I sure hope you can tell us a bit more about you, like Alpha said. I love getting to know the newbies I'm welcoming to PC so if you ever need a chat feel free to leave me a visitor message anytime, or you can ask moderators if you have serious forum-related questions. Their bold names mean you won't have problems spotting them. Anyways, do have an awesome time here and enjoy your stay!

Yup, the Battle Center is home to all of our wonderfully talented battlers so be sure to dive right in when you have the time. Most of our battles are done via Pokemon Showdown so checking the link to it that Hikari10 left you will definitely be worthwhile. It's an active server to boot so it'll be awesome for you. Just be sure to read through the battle board's rules to get an understanding of how things work.
