Hi everyone of the Pokemoncommunity. I stumbled across this website when I was looking for Pokemon Shimy Gold and it piqued my interest to make my own game. I am new at this kind of stuff but am eager to learn what I need to make a game of my own.

Sorry I don't listen to Tyga :(. I hadn't even heard of...him? ...them? until you mentioned it just now :P

But anyway, welcome to the community! You're not the first person to be drawn in by the wonderful world of hacks XD. There's a lot you'll have to learn to make your own, so you're lucky you've joined this community - hacks are kind of our specialty, as you may have already figured out :P. The people in the Emulation section are really friendly and they'll teach you everything you need to know!

I so totally remember ShinyGold. :D It was one of the first hacks I remember playing back then, it was also one of the reasons why I discovered this place...in fact, most of the members here. xD I'm glad to the fact that this hack inspired you to create your own hack, which is good! Could really use some enthusiastic ROM Hackers just like you. :D

Anyways, great to see ya here on PC. Visit the Emulation section (where you went to go check out Shiny Gold and you'll find lots and lots of information regarding hacking a ROM just like Shiny Gold (of course, with your own storyline, design, maps, region, etc). So, take advantage of that, yes?

I know Tyga...it's the rapper, right? xD

I found out about this forum in 2006 because of Shiny Gold as well. The amazing hacks our Emulation section has are really inspiring, aren't they? I wanted to make my own game at one point but ended up really not pursuing that idea haha. >:

You'll learn whatever you need to over time, so do check out all the tools, resources, and tutorials we've got over here. n_n It'll be very helpful, I'm sure.
