Hi everyone! I'm WindriderShiva, or simply Shiva XD. I'm a 30-year-old Canadian woman who's been into Pokémon since Gen I came out, and I've no plan on (fully) quitting Pokémon anytime soon - I may take breaks but it's a series I always come back to. So if I disappear, I've "temporarily" moved onto another game.

I love challenges, shiny hunting and general Pokémon-related things ^^.

    Here's to making new friends!

Hello Shiva. It's a pleasure to meet you and welcome to PC. I hope you enjoy your stay here. I've been into Pokémon since the first generation as well. What's your favorite game and region? If you ever want to leave a message on my profile you're more than welcome to do so. I hope you have a good day and see you later. =)

    Hello and welcome!
I'm glad you mentioned general Pokémon related things, because there's a section called just that (If you re-arrange the words and remove the word things, that is) that you might enjoy.
    also
Wind rider? Canadian? Canadians don't ride the wind, they ride a moose. Everyone knows that.
Source: Am Canadian. I have a moose.
    I'll see you around!

I'm already sold XD. I'm loving this community, and I've seen two whole replies *_*.

@Kyo Tsukino: Fav game and region would be GSC, and Johto is my fav region. Gen II is what really got me into Pokémon (well Yellow got me a step further in than Red, but Gold just obliterated the stairway and opened a deep sinkhole, which I never came back from. Not that I wanna come back from it either, so it works out!)

@SwirlyBirds: Eeee~ another Canadian! What's your moose called? My polar bear's name is Frosty and he loves maple syrup~

That's very cool. Johto used to be my favorite region before generation three came into existance and Crystal was my favorite game before Pokémon Sapphire was around lol.

Hey there nice to meet you. I started to play Pokemon since gen 3 and yeah gen 3 only. But I still playing pokemon hacks made by community. They are good to play based on fresh story and awesome features from later generations that fits into gba.

Currently I going for other games like survival games like The Long Dark or Days.

Anyways feel free to drop a message at my profile :->

My moose's name is Maple and he loves Canadian Bacon. He keeps me safe from polar bears on my way to my job as a lumberjack. He doesn't like the cold that much, so I have to keep apologizing to him.

On a different note, my favorite generation is also Gen 3. I found that I enjoyed exploring Hoenn more than any of the other regions, and 3rd gen ROMS are also the easiest to hack, which is why I originally joined this site.

Gen III was fun~ I was also happy with the ORAS remake. Too bad my Sapphire cartridge's internal battery ran out and I'm not entirely comfortable with replacing it myself... I'm a tad clumsy with manual tasks XD;;.

Nice meeting you too! I like seeing where and how people got into Pokémon~ seems Gen III got some people into it, and that's cool ^^. I tried a hack or two (besides randomizers) but never really got around to fully play them D: ... but that might change XD.

Never heard of The Long Dark or Days. I'm mostly into JRPGs, especially from the SNES/PS1/PS2 generations, but I'll give a shot at any type of game that's not a Call of Duty-like FPS (except Ghost: Recon... that was a fun, fun fun game) or visual novels (just really not my type of game).

Dawww Maple likes Canadian Bacon, have some *hands slice over!*. Well he'll be safe with Frosty... Frosty's cool with moose. I'm sorry about the other polar bears, I'll have Frosty talk to them so they stop attacking poor Maple.

And as stated above, I need to get into some hacks! If I could I'd totally make them, but my knowledge of coding is limited to oldschool HTML 2.0 and CSS, and I've never really given a shot at spriting. I'll drop by that section at some point, it can't hurt ^^.

Aww sorry to hear that happened to your game. D: I was really happy about ORAS. Do you have either one or no?

I have AS. I've been meaning to grab OR as well since it's actually really handy to have both, but the plan keeps falling short because either other games came out, I decided to play other series or caved into MMORPGs when I finally fixed my gaming PC ._.

Hellooo there Shiva! And welcome to PC! it's really nice to meet you!

Oh yeah, we all have our times where we just ignore Pokemon, haha. I think it's great that you played through every generation, I can't really do that, haha. I'm sure that you're going to make lots of friends around here! There's a lot of people like you, and you sound pretty nice. I bet you won't have any problems at all to make friends!

If you ever need help with anything, or you just want to chat. Feel free to send me a message, good luck with everything! :)

XD Thank you! I've been looking forward to meeting new people and doing more challenges, although I'm not sure how to deal with the system on these forums... so I might actually message you ^^.

With Pokémon, I tend to be either MUST DO ALL THE THINGS EVAAAAAR or oh yeah my 3DS is a thing that exists and I need to charge it. I'm going through the former right now, after almost a year of playing other games and hanging around other communities. Gotta say, I missed Pokémon DX.

I'm Dragon, nice to meet you! I live in Canada myself! More specifically, Toronto, Ontario! But yeah, welcome; it's great having another long time fan in our mitts! <33 What would you say is your favourite pokemon? Mine is Milotic for suuure. <33

Anyway, I look forward becoming friends with you too! Have a lovely time, and I'll be more than happy to help you out in case you have a question or a concern. ^^

*wavewave* Thank you! And yay, more Canadians XD. My best friend lives in Cornwall, ON in fact XD.

My fav Pokémon would be... Houndoom! Milotic is a Pokémon I need to give a shot at, considering I always get beaten up by Whitney's Milotic... >_<.

    Whitney's Milotic? o:

    Does she have one?

    *MAJOR HEADDESK*

I just re-read my own post, how could I confuse Milotic with Miltank... BRB, headdesking again for good mesure.

    *cries*

Yeah, that's what I thought you meant. :3

Her Milktank is indeed tough though - having one of your own might not be so bad!

Definitely XD. But Milotic too, it's another one I gotta give a shot at XD. When the Pokémon came up in Gen III, I found the Pokéblock thing was not optimized. Specific berries mixed with the right amount of rotations to craft specific Pokéblock as to have a feel low enough to evolve said Feebas... maybe I read too much into it back then XD. Though today, with the newer methods of getting one, might be a good thing to do.

Yes, pokeblocks back then took a lonnnng while to evolve Feebas. x_x

Fortunately they've fixed that in ORAS! Now it evolves in no tiiiime. <33
