    Hi, I wanted to get into rom hacking and started a few weeks ago. I've been using Hex Maniac Advance to make a fire red hardcore nuzlocke, similar to emerald kaizo (but with a lot less BS, IMO). For the most part, it's small tweaks here and there, adding abilities, stat buffs, etc. My main goal for the nuzlocke is to create challenging battles, make obscure Pokemon fun, and give each Pokemon unique and interesting move pools.

    Here are some fun Pokemon changes
    Delibird now has Iron Bundle stats
    Tropious now has base 535 stats like Lapras
    Persian has the ability "guts" and the move "facade"

    Some move changes
    Comet punch has 100% ACC +1 priority (KINGS ROCK LEDIAN HERE WE COME)
    Infestation is in the game and only shuckle knows it.
    Nuzzle is here for minun and plusle to shine.
    No status is 100% ACC besides confusion and nuzzle.

    Battle ideas
    Gen 3 OU-inspired battles
    Ramping difficulty
    Trainers can have Pokemon with tm/hm and tutor moves
    All trainer pokemon have items

    I'm looking forward to meeting this pokemon community.
    P.S My favorite pokemon is Raging Bolt
    P.S.S Explosion and Substitute are currently bugged and don't work
    P.S.S I need test runners to do up to Brock.

    The first game i played was pokemon stadium, i didn't get the main line games until ruby.

    My favorite game is emerald, but I also love scarlet and violet. I would say those are my top 2. Next would probably be black &
    white 2 and then platinum.
